It would be dandy if all criminals were eager to turn themselves in, but this thread concerns the Trump goons who attacked the Capitol.Turning oneself in for what?...voting for Trump?....when will you call for ANTIFA to turn themselves in?....Nobody needs to hide. The option of voluntarily turning oneself in to the proper authorities is always an option.We are Americans why should we have to hide?...

Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani addressed the crowd which later became a mob and called for "trial by combat'!
Ivanka Trump called the rioters "American Patriots".
Sen Josh Hawley raised his fist outside the Capitol as the mob descended on the Capitol.
It remains to be seen what communication or coordination there was between the organized insurrectionists and Trump's people, but I don't think it would really surprise anyone if those contacts are eventually established since it was Trump himself that called his supporters to Washington DC that day.
