Trump popularity? Not with the famous or popular people that have the attention of the masses. Why would that be?

I totally disagree with you. To achieve something in life, above what you were given by your parents (like with Trump), you need to have brains and intelligence as talent only gets you so far.

There are scores of wildly talented and successful dumb people. Trump is/was a multibillionaire. By your logic he must have brains and intelligence. His father didnt leave him billions of dollars. Elon Musk must be the smartest person on the planet, why do you ignore him?

Again being able to sing doesn't require intelligence, nor does being able to act or being good looking. Miley Cyrus is just a girl who can sing and is willing to act like a slut and dress provocatively. Makes her popular and famous and her takes on the music industry, singing, being a slut and dressing provocatively would have merit. Her opinions on political figures not so much....

The single reason you think their opinions matter is because you share them.

As such, understanding "geopolitical issues" is not a hard thing to do.

You are evidence to the contrary but whatever.

You are evidently not a person that does research.

It is not 100% clear how much Trump was given by his father, with some saying it was as low as $40 million and others saying it was as much as $413 million. Having said that, here is what investing $40 million in like the SPX index would have brought him, without doing anything!!

According to some analyses, if Donald Trump had invested an inheritance of roughly $40 million in an S&P 500 index fund in 1974 and reinvested dividends without paying taxes or fees, that investment could have grown to billions of dollars by 2015. However, factoring in dividend taxes and typical investment fees would significantly reduce that amount, bringing the hypothetical S&P 500 return closer to his estimated net worth at the time. More recently, a New York Times investigation suggests Trump received at least $413 million from his father over his lifetime (adjusted to 2018 dollars), implying a larger potential inheritance and a greater theoretical S&P 500 return if invested in an index fund.

This means that Trump was not intelligent at ALL, given that if he had invested his money in the SPX and done nothing, his net worth would be at least the same as it is now (or greater). Nonetheless, if it was the latter figure that his dad gave him, investing in the SPX would have made him 10 times richer than he is now.

You also need to consider how incompetent Trump has been in his life:

Oh, and by the way and talking about Musk. Isn't he now criticizing Trump for what he is doing?

Again, you are making a stupid assessment of me. I got nothing from my father (he died broke) and yet, I have accomplished everything I ever set my mind to. I have worked in 5 different industries in my life and was successful in each of them. I have economic independence, I am married to the love of my life (which was my #1 goal in life) and I have two children that are equally successful in their lives. I have a good group of friends that value me, as I do them, and if I have failed at anything is taking care of my body (as I should have) as I am physically handicapped due to diabetes that I could have prevented.

So there you have it. Proof that you are brainless and a Trump ass-kisser and puppet.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I disagree with your assessment of "relevance".
And I disagree as they already proved they didn’t influence the public as Harris lost.

Cool story. Remind me did he inherit all his wealth or did he do something with whatever amount he inherited. Im using your logic dum dum. He's famous and successful and therefore must be smart and someone to listen to. That's your standard not mine.

Thanks for proving my point that you only apply the famous and successful and therefore smart and worth listening to standard to people who say things you agree with.

IDK.

Well, let me put it to you in a way YOU can understand:

Musk started with $0 inheritance and is now worth $300 billion
Bloomberg started with $0 inheritance and is now worth over $100 billion
Jay Z (singer) started with $0 inheritance and is now worth $2.5 billion
Taylor Swift started with $0 inheritance and is now worth $1.6 billion
Bruce Springstein started with $0 and is now worth $1.6 billion
(these are now people that criticize Trump)!

and Trump started with $413 million and is now worth $3 billion.

Where is all the talent you say Trump has?

Oh, and in addition, much of what Trump has been able to do to make money is by scamming people, like he did with his Trump University and with his Trump charity and by doing this:

Well it does take brains to uncover the truths in the world, given that there are so many liars and scam artists that convince people (like you) to believe what they are saying, because you do not have the ability (or desire) to do some simple research.

So far, you have not been able to prove anything, other than with words

For your knowledge, these days Bull Shitting, Lying, and Bias toward one's own beliefs is what makes a difference. Having said that, in the end, Mother Nature (reality) wins. If you want to win (in the end and no matter what happens in between, like stupidity winning), you have to face and cope with reality. If you don't, you will live in a fantasy world that will at some point explode in your face.

What this all means is that if the intelligent people (as the ones that oppose Trump, knowing the facts) do the research and thinking about what will work in the end, they will ultimately win. Temporary winning is just that................Temporary.

If you're interested in the music business then Jay Z and Swift are probably really good sources of information. If the topic is how to govern a nation I don't know why their success as performing artists translates. Therefore, their opinion is irrelevant.

The only claim I've made is that your list of people know little about politics and arent worth listening to on the topic, which is objectively true. Your only argument that they are is that you agree with them.

AI Overview

Here is a list of some famous and well-known individuals who have expressed opposition to Donald Trump:
  • Political Figures and Former Officials:
    • Mike Pence
    • Bill Barr
    • James Mattis
    • Mark Esper
    • Rex Tillerson
    • Nikki Haley
    • Chris Christie
  • Celebrities and Entertainers:

    • Scarlett Johansson
    • America Ferrera
    • Stephen King
    • Mick Jagger and Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones)
    • Cher

    • Miley Cyrus
    • John Legend
    • Rosie O'Donnell
    • Arnold Schwarzenegger
    • Chelsea Handler

    • Anne Hathaway
    • Arianna Huffington
    • Meryl Streep
    • Olivia Rodrigo
    • Bruce Springsteen
    • Beyoncé
    • Stephen Curry
This list represents a selection of well-known individuals who have publicly expressed opposition to Donald Trump. It's important to note that this is not an exhaustive list, and many other individuals may hold similar views.

Here is an example of what one well-known athlete said about Trump:

When asked by the San Jose Mercury News if he agreed with the Under Armour CEO who called Trump an asset for the nation, Stephen Curry responded: “I agree with that description — if you remove the ‘et’ from asset.”

My question on this OP is "why are there not ANY famous or popular and well-known people that support Trump? Wouldn't common sense suggest that it is they that would support a well-known figure such as he is"?
This might be The Banker's dumbest thread yet, and that's saying something!

Knowing politics?

How is that relevant in any way?

Does one have to know about politics to see poor people are losing their ability to survive?
Does one have to know about politics to know that less restrictions means more corruption (human nature) will occur?
Does one have to know about politics to understand what a standard of living (better or worse) means?
Does one have to know about politics to know when injustice is being done?
Does one have to know about politics to realize that lying means you cannot trust someone to do the right thing (other than for themselves).

What misinformed BS you prove.

Because they are commenting on a political figure?

If Taylor Swift said that Neil DeGrasse Tyson was a moron would accept her opinion because she's a popular singer?

One question for you (I sincerely hope you have the ability to answer such a simple question, given that your post is pure stupidity).

How much can Neil DeGrasse Tyson affect us and our families, our friends, our community, our State, and our Nation?

Does he have any executive power over any of us?

As such, why would any of us do any research (or have an opinion) on Neil DeGrasse Tyson?

Irrelevant to your argument. Case in point are Rogan and Musk. Their views on these topics haven't changed and they have gone from people to listen to and to people to be ignored by people like you. I dont think Rogan has ever actually endorsed Trump. Elon in the span of less than 2 years has swung back and forth based solely on his support or criticism of a single individual while holding the same views throughout.

You are a hack. Period.

I don’t consider influencers as smart on either side, your political bigotry may feel otherwise, but to me, supporting one political party doesn’t make one “smarter” or not, it just means they see things differently than myself, which isn’t bad.

Another ignorant reply.

Like I have said repeatedly and is a fact of life. Nothing is ever perfect, meaning that if you look for something to support your view, you will always find something.

Life is all about probabilities and going with them or against them. As a stock market analyst that I am, I always bet on the probable outcome and not the longshot outcome. Will I always be right? No, because the longshots sometimes win (like the lottery). Nonetheless and in the long run, you will end up a winner if you go with the probabilities and not with the longshots.

The OP is not about one (or just a few) but the majority of famous and well-known people favoring one outcome. Can one be assured that the outcome will be what they believe? No, but unless you like playing the longshot, you will LIKELY end up a loser. There is a very short list (like with Rogan) favoring the longshot, compared with the other side.

One additional thing to consider. Betting on a longshot can be done without losing being all that painful, given that if you are not betting it all on the longshot, even if you lose you can still survive and prosper later on.

In Trump's case, we are betting it ALL. It is a total win or lose proposition and betting on the longshot means we all likely to lose it all.

Your rating is not a surprise. You do not value facts, but you do value Trump's ass.
Cry much?

This is why I hate the extreme left and the extreme right, they believe that they are always right no matter what, that anyone who disagrees with them are liars and are not reasonable.

May I remind you that you told me last year that Harris would win by a landslide because I wasn’t reading the polls correctly and you were so ******* superior with your knowledge and insight. You have made other silly claims as well, so your opinion holds little weight with me. BTW, since according to you, how is the Harris presidency going for you? Idiot!
