Is Trump going down the same road as he did last time, in choosing people that are not qualified for the job, or just picking people that will support him in staying as president while the job they do is not important?


On top of that:


Trump is putting up an officer that is totally inexperienced in being a military leader (but is a big fan of Trump) to be his Secretary of Defense? I would venture to say "no, he is there to be Trump's puppet".

In addition, Trump wants to start firing Generals that do not "fall in step" with what he wants.

Doesn't this look like a dictator's move to get the military to do what he wants...................much like Venezuela and other countries where the military is there more to keep the citizens of that country under control than to defend the country?

I do believe this is the "first step" in destroying our Democracy and keeping Trump in control so he can stay as president for as long as he lives and rule the country the way he wants, **** the Constitution and Bless Autocracy

I don't think you really understand the Constitution and the fact that National Defense is actually one of the 18 Enumerated Powers.
The same way you don't really understand why the Commander in Chief
would want Generals that could or would follow orders ...

You all are making a big mistake in analyzing my posts. I am not a Democrat from the point of view that I am in favor of everything they do. I was originally a believer in many more of the Republican way of thinking but left that side when the Far right took over.

I consider myself more of a centrist and will vote either way (according to the nominee or program being offered by either party).

You guys (at least the ones that are not on the Far right) need to understand that.

The one thing that I am 100% is a believer that morals, ethics, principles and humanity need to be part of whatever is being discussed.

Because of that, I am 100% against Trump, given that he has none of those. I am against the man and not the party. At least not against the Republican party. What I against is the Trump party and the far right that support them. If you are in that group, I am 100% against you as well.

As such, quit giving this BS about the Democrats and what you believe of them. I am not one of them.

I say this because I am getting tired of fighting the far right and Trumpers, who will NEVER wake up to the reality of what Trump is (as a person). It is impossible to win, or even discuss Trump's incompetence with them.

I do not agree with you on that statement. It is a blind-by-choice statement. The Democrats believe in helping others. Do they try to go a bit too far on occasions? Yes, but overall they believe in the team concept of everyone working together to accomplish a common goal, which is the goal of the Constitution (all for one and one for all, etc). The republicans do go to the other side and support the individual first and what is left for the others, great.
