What is needed in the field is courage and determination to fight the enemy. Everyone on the field needs to determine their own sexual preferences and that should not affect their field performance as military soldiers. Sex orientation should not be a determining factor for determining who is to defend our country.

Trump is putting up an officer that is totally inexperienced in being a military leader (but is a big fan of Trump) to be his Secretary of Defense? I would venture to say "no, he is there to be Trump's puppet".

In addition, Trump wants to start firing Generals that do not "fall in step" with what he wants.

Doesn't this look like a dictator's move to get the military to do what he wants...................much like Venezuela and other countries where the military is there more to keep the citizens of that country under control than to defend the country?

I do believe this is the "first step" in destroying our Democracy and keeping Trump in control so he can stay as president for as long as he lives and rule the country the way he wants, **** the Constitution and Bless Autocracy

I don't think anything official has been announced about Massie, but I agree that I would prefer him to stay in the House. My feeling is that he's been in the House for how long, though, and he may not want to keep spinning his wheels there and may be ready for something different even if Dept. of Agriculture doesn't ultimately work out. I won't begrudge him that.

When the Pentagon decided that active duty military would recieve gender reassignment surgery, who is the intended beneficiary? Is there anything about gender reassignment that improves combat readiness?

This is not about being a good military person, it's about being a leader of our Armed Forces. He has NO qualifications for that. He has been out of the military for the past 10 yers and has been a FOX news anchor since then.
