Trump is protecting Americas market and infrastructure from China.

This is a gamer changer, he wants to leave America protected from China and their desire to usurp America.

WASHINGTON, Feb 21 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump signed a memorandum on Friday that directs the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States to restrict Chinese investments in strategic areas, a White House official said.

The national security memorandum is aimed at promoting foreign investment while protecting U.S. national security interests from threats posed by foreign adversaries like China, the official said.

The order says that China is "exploiting our capital and ingenuity to fund and modernize their military, intelligence, and security operations, posing direct threats to United States security," the official said.

The problem is that such measures don’t just hit China, but also American companies that risk losing legitimate funding. Many times, businesses don’t even know what documents or steps they need to follow in order to pass the review. There’s actually a practical guide on how not to fall into the trap and how to demonstrate compliance with CFIUS rules. Unfortunately, I don’t see this side being discussed in the mainstream media.
