trump orders generals to draw up plans to invade Greenland.

Yeah...there was no reason to discuss Greenland. Nobody is trying to take it over now...except for the US; bizarrely. We used to be the vanguard of peace. Now...we're not much different than Iraq or the USSR.

No there was no reason to discuss it..........so why are you trying to start a fight with others here, when there is none.?

PS: I'm glad you answered.... BS Filter is in full ***** mode; again.

and you're in full drunk ***** mode again. Give it up

Trump says lots of things to improve his negotiating posture. That concludes today's lesson on how Trump operates.

The problem is Trump isn't improving his negotiating position. He's literally making other countries think he's a ******* moron.

Why would they want to negotiate with him? He insults everyone. At some point the US is going to be very alone when it needs friends.

Also, if you know this is his strategy, then everyone else knows it too. So how much of an advantage is that? All Denmark needs is for EU countries to back them up and put troops on the ground.

The US is screwed without the EU.

Raise your hand if you’re one of the retards who believe the unsourced claim quoted in the moronic OP.

Why would we be required to take to the streets? Isn't that NATO's job? To do something about a country going rogue?
Nope, NATO is a DEFENSIVE PACT. When someone is attacked, NATO is there to DEFEND.

Afghanistan should not have been NATO.

Gads Donald, leave Greenland alone and go bomb Iran instead. I want to see that regime collapse! Gogogogog!!!
He really need to take a break. He's nuts and on the ragged edge. Between bombing little boats supposedly over drug (never found or recovered) to pressure the asshole Maduro, then taking oil tankers, then having the military do their excellently military planned and executed snatch and grab, and then announcing it was always about the oil. He then pivots to threatening Greenland, Canada and Mexico. At the same time running his mouth about the dead woman in Minnesota before the body is cold, much less allowing for an objective in depth total investigation. Now, I understand he is talking about action against Cuba. All of this as Epstein files continue to be analyzed, whether he wanted in or not, and he definitely did not want it. The Supremes shot down his trumped-up emergency use of Federalized troops in cities. Yesterday or the day before, he went on a twitter rant, saying Jack Smith should be jailed, though there has never been a charge against him. Nothing can be ruled out, though. If I were Jack Smith, I wouldn't be caught dead on 5th Avenue. He lost 17 republican votes in the House to continue blocking extension of tax credits and funding for the people getting their healthcare via the Affordable Healthcare act, so that moves to the blocking process in the Senate as a last stand against people that cannot afford insurance for their kids. Plus another Republican in the house died, leaving a 1 vote margin in the House. All of this crap, being badly handled by his administration in the last 20 days, not to mention he has taken on the running of Venezuela, with no clue how to go about it, other than pay a hundred billion to big oil to shoot itself in the foot, in order to drop the profitability of drilling and pumping oil by tens of thousand of Americans across the entire shale oil industry, out west, endangering all of those jobs. And, don't forget, he just shut down wind farms on the East coast, some ready to come online, and put all those thousands of construction workers and engineers out of work. The man needs to take a break, go play golf and **** off, for a while, as America is literally getting tired of all the shit.

So what should the USA do about Russia and China if they keep hanging around Greenland?
It was your turn to answer a question but you ran like a little *****...as always.

Let them "hang around" as much as they want...if they stay in international waters...not much we can do about that unless you want to go to war over Greenland that is.

The U.S. has had contingency plans to invade Greenland just like they have contingency plans to invade Russia..etc.. I have to wonder if Trump saying plans are on the table, simply doesnt refer to this?

I don't have a turn, **********. Your weak posturing is evidence you need to lash out in every post. It's not going to make your weak pathetic ignorant post look any better.

What if Russia builds a base on Greenland? Then what?

Never pester candyass with actual questions. Such things are above her pay grade and brain power.

She’s always a simpleton hack just as you’re witnessing.

China and Russia have shown no interest in Greenland

The only one interested in Greenland is Trump
Republicans only care because Trump tells them to

In 2018, China launched its Arctic policy, also known as the Polar Silk Road, in which it controversially referred to itself as a “Near-Arctic State.” Over the past seven years, China has attempted to grow its footprint in the region through scientific research expeditions, infrastructure investments, and natural resource acquisitions. By most metrics, the strategy has failed to take off, as major projects continue to be blocked due to security concerns.

But China’s continued interest in Greenland reflects the island’s geostrategic importance—and China’s global lead in rare earth mining and processing expertise keeps the U.S. adversary on the table as a potential future mining partner in Greenland. Greenland’s minister of business and mineral resources warned that while Western partnerships are preferred, without an influx of investment, Greenland will have to turn to other partners, including China. Already, Chinese rare earth company Shenghe Resources is the largest shareholder in the Kvanefjeld mine, with 12.5 percent ownership. Shenghe signed an MOU in 2018 to lead the processing and marketing of materials extracted from the site.

Given the security dynamics in the Arctic region, it is vital that the United States remains engaged in Greenland as a North American partner and security ally. A critical minerals deal could be one way to deepen ties, but significant challenges inhibit commercial mining ventures on the island today, including infrastructure, energy, social license to operate, and regulatory barriers.

More unsupported bloviating from Leftwhiner.

How surprising. He hasn’t done that since his most recent previous posting efforts.

The United States has long viewed Greenland as vitally important for its defense, explained Marc Jacobsen, an analyst at the Royal Danish Defense College in Copenhagen.

“There's no doubt that it's geostrategically important in defending the U.S. national security against Russian missiles,” Jacobsen told VOA. “The shortest route for Russian missiles towards the U.S. is via the North Pole, via Greenland.”

Russia has invested heavily in its Arctic military footprint in recent years. Its northernmost Nagurskoye air base on Siberia’s northern coast hosts nuclear-capable strategic bombers, missile and surveillance systems.

Russian nuclear submarines patrol the Arctic seas, while a growing fleet of nuclear-powered ice breakers projects Kremlin power across the region.

There you go again. Defeating leftwhiner’s empty babble with actual facts.

NATO would never allow it.
