There may or may not be North Koreans fighting in Ukraine for the Russians. That may be an imaginary force constructed by the CIA and it might not, I have seen reports of those fighters dying rather than giving up. But I do not trust any news coming out of that war, one side or the other. My point is that either way, can the Ukrainians hold out without US military aid?

The future ramifications are unknown, regardless of what happens next. I do believe that the Russians will continue their covert actions with or without a ceasefire. Putin wants the entire Ukraine region under Soviet control and I do not believe he will stop his efforts to that end. But he might well delay and change his tactics and wait for the next US resident who has no balls so to speak.
