I imagine the Epstein revelations aren't helping much. Trump's approval now sits at only 36%, not even a year into his second term. His approval on the handling of the economy is even lower at 33%. The economy dominated last week's elections and will certainly be a mitigating factor in next year's midterms. The Republican Party is headed towards a midterm bloodbath that will rival 2018 if this is not turned around and I don't see how it can be at this point. Trump's reputation is beyond repairing and the impression of Vance, his heir apparent, is even worse.

Trump will be nearing Carteresque poll numbers. Trump’s economy is headed for a friggin disaster. Tariffs, unstable leadership and inflation will start having an effect.

I fully expect inflation to be a major factor in 2026 and Trump’s numbers to fall even further.

Fake polls because Visa and Mastercard show the consumer is still spending. If the consumer was actually worried about the economy, spending would have slowed down.

25) Oohhhhh noooo, Mr. Bill. Except PEOPLE AREN'T ACTING IN LINE WITH THAT "SENTIMENT." Both VISA and Mastercard are showing "broad based strength" and "healthy consumer and business spending."

Last week, both Visa and Mastercard, which each process hundreds of billions of annual transactions, told investors they saw no sign of any consumer pullback, which they would expect if consumers really smelled a Great Depression coming:

Retailers reported October sales grew about +5% compared to last year. The National Retail Federation forecasts additional holiday sales growth of +3.7%-4.2% over 2024 levels, showing consumers are still spending like it is a great economy. This week, CBS reported that holiday spending predictions are very optimistic, even though consumers sound gloomier than ever in surveys:

I'll give it another year or two before I suggest another Trump impeachment.

The 40 day shut down cost jobs and a huge revenue loss for the government,
and companies. Given that, and the constant drum roll from the MSM, I can
see why there is a poor sentiment. Perhaps people should also do less listening
to a party that's in transition to socialism/communism and without any real
policies.
just a thought

Back in the real world your remarks would have made perfect sense, but that was before he amassed his cult that don't even consider the things you mentioned. They only care about what he says regardless of how absurd his remarks are.

Can't find any. Trump used up the H1Bs on hiring for Mar-a-Lago, as there are no qualified Americans for the job at his resort., saying Americans didn't have the right talents.

He never used H1-B for MAL.

RCP Avg has him over 50 percent

Sounds like you got a weird polling number

Really? Wrong. He loves foreign workers. Always has.

Not H-1B, which is what I posted.

The number of applications for H-2A and H-2B visas covering temporary workers including servers, clerks, housekeepers, kitchen staff and farm workers was the highest ever submitted by the company, and up from 121 in 2021, when Trump’s first term of office ended.

So what great plans do the Democrats have for the economy other than to crash it further than Biden could accomplish?

Americans just don't have the right qualifications, I'm sure. No. Just another case of Trump talking out of two sides of his mouth, as his operations thrive on foreign workers. He just doesn't generally advertise it to MAGA.

He is also two faced on the anti-Second Amendment.
Yes, many Trump hotels and golf courses are considered gun-free zones, as staff at several locations have stated that guests are not allowed to carry firearms, even if they have concealed-carry permits.
