Russia has always had something North Korea doesn't: Resources, factories, trade, and an economy dependent of imports and exports. So it was in their best interests to make deals with the US. North Korea has nothing.

We can't wait for a southern expansion attempt. Plus, pulling out in this case will be seen as abandonment and capitulation. Any ROF must be coupled with an ultimatum that WILL be acted upon. It HAS to be viewed as a forewarning of massive engagement that will involve, at least, the use of tactical nuclear weapons.

If NK decides to attack, they would be foolish with current deployments. Removing forces by a nation that hasn't won a war since WWII, can only be seen as further deterioration of the west, us in particular. Their gambit is calling our bluff, so far they have been correct.

Normally I'd agree, pupps. But he has a million man army and enough artillery to take out all of Seoul aimed at them right now. And we only have 30,000 troops there. He would kill all of them before we could react. Having our troops there will not stop him from building more nukes. Building up our forces there will not deter him from building more nukes. 5 nuclear attack submarines can flatten his ass once and for all if he attacks. We just send him the message we're getting our troops out and clearing the way to vaporize him.
