Trump's first day in office, he implements his proposed tariffs on Mexican and Canadian imports. Within two days, TWO DAYS, gas prices shoot up by 30 to 40 cents a gallon, within a couple weeks, 70 cents. It might be a little less than that in the costal regions. But the Midwest, Great Lakes, and Rockies, it will probably go up even more than those numbers.

Mexico drives, yes, like in the days of the Old West, one million head of cattle to US feedlots. Canada delivers about that same number of head, already processed, to US food suppliers, much of it high end, Prime beef. Chicken, the numbers are probably worse. Those five and ten pound bags of frozen chicken you buy in the grocery store, they probably came from Canada. Seafood, shrimp, tuna, salmon, forget about it.
Let's just hope you aren't Jewish or Muslim, pork is probably going to be your best protein choice. Prices might drop a little after China implements retaliatory tariffs. But then again, you might be able to pick up some beef organs on the cheap, well, except for liver. Then there is always pork chitterlings and stomachs.
Sure, furniture prices are going to increase significantly, especially for casegoods. Appliances, and especially TV's, they are going to spike hard. But hell, who cares, just throw a cover on the damn worn out couch and hire someone to fix that old fridge, get a used washer.

It really is amazing West. Back in 2016, all I heard from my liberal friends was that if Trump were in office, he'd start WWIII. Instead, Trump did the EXACT OPPOSITE, got us out of conflict, smoothed global tensions, and had everything running better.
Then Biden gets in, first does the disastrous Afghan pullout debacle. Then he both misses, fails to stave off then finally inflames conflict with Russia to the MAX. Three years later, we are ever-closer to serious, nuclear conflict. Then Biden hose-bags the conflict with Israel and Iran, fueling Iran's abilities, while both aiding yet preventing Israel from a swift and final resolution to the threats from Hamas and Hezbollah, leading to a meltdown in the region.
And now we have China playing war-games with Taiwan with obviously no concern for Biden and Biden is off in Brazil screwing off on that as well.
Yet somehow, the Left finds no concern at all about Biden lobbing intermediate missiles deep into Russia all the while blames Trump for events taking place with Biden and Harris in control despite Trump not even being in office. Now the jackasses are already demanding to know why Trump hasn't already ended the war in Ukraine! The guy does not take office until late January of NEXT YEAR!

I have maxed out every IQ test I have ever taken, it is at least 160. My sister, four years younger, shows up in high school and works in the office to get credit. Being nosy, no surprise, she pulls my file. She tells me, across the top, "Genius" is written. I place Trump's IQ at a gracious 85, his supporters, for the most part, unless they are worth a unit, and yeah, you don't even know what a unit is, at less than that.

I try to be fair. But I've seen evidence of some people here that they might be as low as 50 IQ. These are people not really able to function independently. At least a 70 IQ, you can pass on the street as fairly normal until someone really presses you on your cognition, but really, some of the stuff people say here, I hope they are just pulling folk's legs because if they are serious, we have a real national crisis on our hands.
No wonder all the best students in our universities these days are all mostly Asians.

Well, you are way off, Genius, and I could provide court-qualified proof of that. I know for a fact that Trump not only rates QUIT HIGH in both his analytical ability but also in his keen comprehension as well, he is just not the most well-groomed public speaker in expatiating his thoughts.
Trump's biggest liabilities are in his inflexibility of thought (resistance to change from forces without) as well as in his massive emotional impact experiences leave impressed upon him (he never forgets a favor but never forgives a transgression); too bad I can't tell you how I know that, but you can bank your life on it.
