So trump, whose entire argument for why he should be president is he understands the rules and will be an efficient leader, is totally outflanked by Cruzs superior knowledge of the rules and organizational skills, and somehow that just shows Cruz is corrupt....

The results of the elections only bind delegates for the first, and in some rare cases the second,ballots. Everyone knew that going in. The rules have been that way for years. People will still get their delegates to support their candidates on the first ballot as they were promised

Once it was obvious a contested though all the candidates should have been working to get loyal delegates in wherever they can. It's the only way to win future ballots
