I don't think that was an issue with this case.He doesn't get immunity for this. He wasn't president.

Just drove back from visiting Florida on Thursday. If I win the Lottery, I'll be back there before collect the money, and I will be taking every member of my family with me.Well, now you are land locked, but probably better off.
With your history, it is not surprising you miss proximity to the ocean. We like to visit Florida, but not stay more than a week or so, at a time. The only places we really like are houses on the beach, and we absolutely cannot afford it. 3 miles in from beach it is unbearable hot and humid, in other parts, I don't like the cities, toll roads and some of the nutballs down there. I do like their gun laws.Just drove back from visiting Florida on Thursday. If I win the Lottery, I'll be back there before collect the money, and I will be taking every member of my family with me.
Nice try SkipperWhich is perfectly legal, which you conveniently forgot to mention!
That's not at all what was presented in court.
Cohen admitted in court that he had defrauded Trump of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Cohen wanted to get back in Trump's good graces by paying Stormy Daniels to keep her mouth shut for once.
Trump found out later what Cohen had done.
BTW, there is no law against paying hush money to someone who's blackmailing you.
Show me the statute that says that.No laws against banging a porn star or paying hush money to keep her quiet
No law against having your lawyer make the payment
But the money Trump pays to his whores needs to come from his own pocket, not written off as a “legal expense”
Show me the statute that says that.

Again....show me the statute.
Sorry Skippy but you don’t get to write off the money you send to whores as a legal expense
Sorry Skippy but not jumping through your hoopsAgain....show me the statute.
Trump is the corporation, dumbass! Paying legal expenses is perfectly legal, as was pointed out to the jurors many times by the defense.Nice try Skipper
Nothing wrong with having your lawyer make the hush money payment.
But pay him back with your own personal funds.
Don’t pay him back with corporate funds and then claim it as a “legal expense”
Trump is the corporation, dumbass! Paying legal expenses is perfectly legal, as was pointed out to the jurors many times by the defense.
You miss the point SkipperTrump is the corporation, dumbass! Paying legal expenses is perfectly legal, as was pointed out to the jurors many times by the defense.
Yes, it is. It is called a non-disclosure agreement. Perfectly legal. Go back to school. You need it.Paying a porn star for a boinking is not not a "legal expense".
As was pointed out to the jurors many times by the prosecution.
If Trump had paid the porn star for the boinking out of his own pocket, there wouldn't have been a case. It wasn't the paying for the boinking that resulted in his conviction. It was the money laundering through a business entity to hide the payments.
The jurors understood the difference.
WW
His corporation pays all of his expenses. DUH!You miss the point Skipper
Claiming it as a “legal expense” allows you to deduct it from corporate profits
Yes, claiming legal expenses is perfectly legal. But not to pay off your dalliances with a porn star
Yes, it is. It is called a non-disclosure agreement. Perfectly legal. Go back to school. You need it.
Excuse me, but which law school did you drop out of?There is paying the lawyer to draw up an NDA, that is a legal expense.
The money paid to the porn star for the boinking is not.
An attorney paid $5000 to draw up an NDA is a legal expense. The $150,000 you pay to the porn star is not.
WW
Excuse me, but which law school did you drop out of?
YeaHis corporation pays all of his expenses. DUH!
The problem with your reasoning ing is that no such law exists, or that would be what he would be convicted under. You missed that part. The same one you did.
The difference is I paid attention to the legal arguments during the trial including reading the documents and transcripts that were made publicly available.
Which is why the "tax" thing is actually minor, Trump's major problem was paying Daniels by laundering the money through his corporate entity to his lawyer who was convicted of federal felony campaign violations as an attempt to evade FEC reporting and hide the commission of Cohen's crime. That attempting to hide the crime of another by falsification of business records is what raised the falsification from a misdemeanor to a felony.
WW
Completely legal because he would not pay state tax on that anyway. He was not charged with a tax crime.Yea
And they deducted paying off Trumps whore as a “Legal Expense”
