Trump Just Killed Cable TV

You get network TV for free with a ******* antenna, you dipshit. Good Lord, you people are dumb.
No, it sucks. For some reason I can't get channel 2. The Lion's are on 2.

I have to have internet. I hear YouTube tv is the best. Not just looking up video's on YouTube. The monthly pay service. I hear it's great and cheap.

I will evolve/adapt. I did during the Bush tragedy I'll survive this suspense thriller we are living in right now.

OMG, you just made me think of the funny one I saw on one of the late night shows. Republicans cried so much about the Biden crime family. What a joke. Then they explained how it would would have to be the biggest coincidence for Don Jr. and Donald to run into each other when both of them just so happen to be doing business with the same foreign country. Don Jr. was there to get them to "invest" in his crypto scam while Don Sr. as president was selling them AI technology.

I was thinking last night that if Howard wants to retire, Jimmy can take over his show. Or, Howard only does 3 days a week. Jimmy can do 2.

OR, Sirius can give Kimmel his own channel. Colbert too.

Or they just do podcasts. Which are free. I don't listen to podcasts but I might now. You see Republicans would get cancelled due to ratings if they tried to have a show like theirs so they go on podcasts. None of them have good ratings but collectively, they are brainwashing America.

Kirk's podcast was downloaded between 500,000 and 750,000 times each day in 2024

As of mid-2025, Stephen Colbert's The Late Show is the highest-rated broadcast late-night talk show in total viewers.

  • Total viewers: 2.417 million

Yes, cable TV is dying, primarily due to "cord-cutting" as consumers switch to more flexible and affordable streaming services like Netflix, Max, and Hulu. This trend is driven by factors such as high cable costs, limited on-demand options on traditional TV, and the rise of platforms that offer tailored content at a lower price. While cable TV still exists, its subscriber base has significantly declined since its peak around 2009, with industry analysts projecting continued drops in the coming years.

I think this is the final nail in the cable coffin. Cable was already dying. Now that they cancelled two of my favorite shows and WWE Monday Night Raw went to Netflix, I'm going to cancel my cable service. That will save me $120 a month. So thank you Trump. Now I will be able to afford 1 doll at Xmas.

My nephew says I can pay YouTube monthly and get everything. Or a lot.

And for $280 you can buy a box that has every channel on it including ppv and all you need is the internet? You can buy it on Amazon. It's a little bit delayed but who cares for the price right? Any movie, live sports, news, etc.

How do you get this on Amazon? Anyone know what my nephew is referring to?

He's likely referring to picking up an android streaming box and setting it up with an IPTV subscription. I've had one for years and get close to 10,000 channels for about $10 per month.
