Trump Isn't Perfect

Brilliant OP!!

Trump and all who support him are imperfect people as all of us are. There is not one of us who can claim to be sinless in thought and deed, who has never done, thought or said something that would look terrible on the front page of the newspaper, especially out of context and/or with no mitigating circumstances.

So yes, we're stuck with Trump and those who ally with him and who will serve on his team, all imperfect people, sinners in their own right. Every one of them will say things we disagree with, will propose or suggest policy that won't fly and/or try something that doesn't work out as hoped. Every one of them will make some mistakes or not accomplish something they hoped to do, even promised to do.

But I'll settle for the vision held by Trump and his team for a free, secure, strong, prosperous America that promotes liberty, choices, options, opportunity, prosperity for all Americans in a peaceful world.

I will be doing what I can to insist the people who represent me in my state help with that vision in every possible way they can do so with good conscience. And I will strongly criticize/condemn them if they do not.

I've always felt that my role here is educational.
There are so many lies that the Leftists tell and get away with, we on the other side have to provide the truth because there are so many readers of threads who would otherwise believe the lies are true.,

Keep on keeepin' on, brother.
Your education is spectacular. I plan to Sister.

??? I don't see the correlation between 12 million illegals and PC's argument.

(I also think that 12 million is a really REALLY conservative, maybe made up estimate of how many illegals Biden has allowed in. There might be as many as 12 million got-a-ways alone.)

All of which of course supports and affirms Trump's agenda to begin sending those millions back to where they came from beginning with those we KNOW are dangerous to America/Americans. Will he make some mistakes in the process? Almost certainly he will. Will he need some trial and error as to the best way to be most effective in the process? Almost certainly he will.

Good people will support him in the effort though. And the anti-Americans/never-Trumpers will be making countless threads holding up the blips here and there as failure of everything he and his team will be doing.
She was saying H-1B taking jobs from Americans. And that somehow isn’t a good trump policy. Well thousands isn’t near millions

Pleeeeeezzzzzzzz!

There is zero relevance in the millions that the Democrats called in, and Trump's nominee wanting to remove the cap on H1-B visas.

Trump is far from agreeing with illegal immigration.
The illegals take jobs, but no one is giving them a get in free card except Democrats.

There is an argument that well educated Indians and Chinese are needed for American high tech industry, and I am questioning that.

We have yet to see what Trump's decison on the visas.

"President-elect Trump told The Post Saturday he supports immigration visas for highly skilled workers, appearing to side with Elon Musk in the roiling intra-MAGA debate on the issue.

“I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them,” Trump said by phone, referring to the H-1B program, which permits companies to hire foreign workers in specialty occupations.

“I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It’s a great program,” added Trump, who restricted access to foreign worker visas in his first administration and has been critical of the program in the past.

MAGA hardliners want Trump to follow through with his promise to promote US workers and impose tougher restrictions on immigration."

That's my position, too.

Folks, don't trust any yahoo who can clear his conscience by asking forgiveness from his imaginary friend.
Who is that "imaginary friend"?

So this is your position?

"Communism—theoretically, ideologically, and historically—opposes God and all forms of religion. From the time of Karl Marx to today, communism is based on the abolition of religion. In 1844, Marx wrote, “Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions."

I find that many of the less intelligent feel this way, and yet you voted for Obama who the Democrats sold as "God."

How do you explain that?

I appraised the magnificent home in the hills above San Mateo city once and asked the Mexican how he got to America. He was then a teacher at an American college and he said he got here because he is a teacher. It was very fine home he lived in.

My position is h-1b visas are good for the country. They allow cheap laborers in particular areas american’s don’t want to take because of the salaries. So does trump. He used them. To say it’s somehow a limitation of policy is how I read your op

There are vast differences in the highly educated H1 Visas and the illegals. The illegals are the low grade invaders of America.

Thank you for the compliment--you are very kind--but I'll yield to my friends here for brilliance. A lot of it is just reading a lot of history--history of the world, of religions, of cultures, of our nation and how it came to be what it is. Without a grounding in the history, can be very difficult to achieve accurate perceptions of what is.

Your own thought processes go far beyond the standard talking points, propaganda, spin, and you have an inquiring mind that seeks the enduring truth buried under a lot of nonsense and intentional falsehoods.

That is its own form of brilliance. :)

And it is also the brilliance that thinking people see in the ability of men/women like Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy and others to be able to think outside the box, visualize possibilities, being willing to risk failure to try something new or different in order to accomplish something better. And it is old fashioned American morality and common sense that causes them to identify and reject so many destructive concepts/policies that are dragging down the goodness and potential of America and Americans. They'll have to break a few eggs in the process and some of that may be painful. Again they will make some mistakes. But I believe their hearts are in the right place and they want to do good, to see if they can achieve good.

I hope most Americans continue to wish them well
