I was also a purchasing officer for a trade school project in Belize, same thing, two week rotations. Same thing constructing a school for the blind in Grenada. Why would anyone think it would be any different for State side deployments?

He's limiting deployment to 29 days. There is a 30 day cutoff for full allowances and benefits. by keeping them at 29 days they are cheating those guys out of about $2500 each from what I'm reading.

Agreed. Nobody does this kind of thing. I say give them the extra money anyway. Very easy call. The extra $ will result in a miniscule amount. The "they knew it when they signed up" stuff just doesnt apy, ever, under any circumstance.
