However if I want to bring some chicken soup to work that works beautifully. I never put them in the microwave I always pour the soup out into an
acceptable container made of stainless steel or microwavable material that won't Leach. Having said that they are awesome for Cold storage of almost any kind of food. Cheaper than Tupperware. Oops maybe that's what did Tupperware in.
