But you are, my friend, you just don't realize it.

I have exactly two semi-automatic, magazine fed firearms.

An AR-15 and an M1911 clone, the two firearms I used during my term of enlistment. Which makes perfect sense...these are the two firearms I came to know inside and out, could strip and reassemble in the dark by feel if I had to, fired more in four years than any firearm I've handled prior or since.

But you call me a sissy for owning them.

I'm not giving you a hard time, nor trying to humble you...I'm just asking that you look at things from a different perspective before drawing your conclusions.
