It is becoming something worse than a laughingstock. I wonder how different America would have been had the Founding Fathers required all future political leaders to recite these Bible verses every morning before the government revved its engines.
When reading Kings and Chronicles in the Bible we learn that many of the kings "did evil in the sight of the Lord." By doing so, they caused their people to "do evil" as well. Conversely, because the people chose to do evil, God provided them with evil leaders.
Americans and our leaders have all "done evil in the sight of the Lord." Trump is simply a symptom of the problem. America removed the Christian God (Jesus Christ) from the public square and has replaced him with a satanic ("Satan" means "Adversary") god instead. So in a strange way, Trump is doing God's bidding. Trump is America's punishment for having put materialism, abortion, strange gods, self-centeredness, porn, sports (circuses), chemical abuse (drugs & booze), and everything else before Jesus Christ.
So, in an odd way -- America gets what she deserves.
