Robert Byrd admitted he was in the KKK
An renounce his affiliation about the time Ike was elected President.
David duke did the same thing.
The GOP rejected duke, awarding him precisely zero delegates in 1992, and then not allowing him entry into the convention.
The Dems embraced the sheety cyclops, promoted him, cherished him, and let him speak at the convention.
Here you are democrats. We all know we are not racists here. Let's welcome Ku klux klan enchanted cyclops
Robert Byrd
Cheers erupt, standing ovation.....
Democrats were the racist party of segregation at the time. He was from Virginia.
It's it funny how all the Northern States flipped to the Democrat "racist party of segregation." You morons always pretend the South left. Actually the north joined. The south had almost all the seats before the Democrats started turning socialist. Then the south left
Except the part in history, you must missed, when the Democrats in the North teamed up the the Republican in the North and they pass that Civil Rights bill in 1964. Sort of like the second coming of the Civil War. And the Democrats became the Big Tent inclusive party. They still let their Southern Cousins in until the Southern population were convinced that the GOP was the party that would up hold their "traditional values".
Then the left Republicans in the North became Democrats joining the racists in the South. Funny how they did that. What are now the Democrat States specifically went out and joined the racists. They knew what they were. Then you have a racist President as head of your party today and you still believe blacks are your property as any black who tries to leave the Democrat party immediately learns that lynching has not gone away, it's just gone high tech
Ah the history of things that never happened.
