Schumer said the Democrat's “job” is to hurt Trump’s popularity, and Hakeem Jeffries agrees

Story by Jason Cohen
Former Clinton pollster Mark Penn said Wednesday that Democrats are struggling politically because Americans perceive them as hyper-partisan and extreme on certain policies.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told CNN in an April 27 interview that his party is “totally united in focusing on [President Donald] Trump.” After Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo played a clip of the interview on “Mornings with Maria,” Penn said that Schumer exemplifies how the party is viewed as “purely partisan” and unwilling to work with Trump to achieve progress for Americans.

“Chuck Schumer is one of the least popular politicians here in the country. I think he’s seen as really these days as close to a partisan hack rather than somebody who’s trying to solve the problems of the country,” Penn said. “And I think that’s the problem with the Democrats now. They’re seen as purely partisan, but off the deep end on some policy issues, not trying to be constructive, not listening to the will of the people to try to get things done together with the president.

March polling by NBC News and CNN/SSRS showed Democrats with record low popularity ratings — 27% and 29%, respectively.

Despite the public’s dissatisfaction, Schumer said on “Morning Joe” in March that his party’s “job” is to hurt Trump’s popularity, and that he and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries were aligned on an attack strategy.

Comment:
The Democrats believe that if they turn their hate up to 11 that that will work.
They are using their usual hate and fear tactics, but it's not working anymore.
They are defending mass illegal immigration crimes because they are on a mission to rebuild their shrinking voter base.
Remember what they said "no one is above the law"....except illegal immigrants
They have put their greed for power above the sovereignty of our country
In the past democrats were very clever and hid all of their agendas. Nowadays they are so cocky and arrogant that they often just come clean and do all of their shit right out in the open for everyone to see. I tip my hat to them for that.

That goes without saying. For instance the current drumbeat that the Qatar airplane will go to Trump's personal library. Trump hasn't said that. Qatar hasn't said that. Both say it is a gift to the U.S. government.

But the dishonest, politically motivated MSM/legacy media and the Democrat talking heads on television keep repeating what they think will make Trump more socially unacceptable.

I wish they ALL had to wear gadgets that would painfully zap them every time they told lies to accomplish that.

The disguised direction in all that is it’s their job to harm Trump physically

The democraps really have nothing to offer the American people and they are obviously 100% dedicated to the needs of the elite donors. So, by default their only strategy has to be bring Trump down to their level and beat him with dirty politics. I don't think Trump is taking the bait. He is actually putting a lot of distance between him and the democrap party. The midterms are going to be bad for the democraps.

If someone were to read between the lines of the democrap lies and propaganda over the last 8 years they would see that the democraps are really admitting they have absolutely nothing to offer the American people and are dedicated to the elite and their Big Money. Thus, their political strategy is to destroy the competition rather than become a better party that actually does something for the general population.

Schumer is a lunatic.

In his own words - his job is not to represent his constituents, but rather to make Trump look bad.

No wonder Democrats have a miserable approval rating.

Interesting .
Because it is a politician's duty to evaporate the opposition by any legal means .

But it is Schumer himself who is the problem by holding the position he does . He is more than unliked . Perhaps he is blind to that .
Why doesn't Deep State order him to stand down ?
Most puzzling .
Particularly as behind the scenes he and Trumpfy work together and Schemer is head US Jew along with Trumpfy, but in Control Opposition position from Schumer's public but not private position .

Only if the politician is a psychopath in a party of psychopaths.

Deep State probably has a field office in his campaign headquarters. :p

New Yorkers keep electing him. I know a lot of NY Jews, I lived in Manhattan for 20 years. Most of them are good people, if a bit idealistic. There is very little love for DJT in NY or NJ. On the other hand Schumer has delivered for New Yorkers in many ways. I'm not sure what his relationship with DJT is. Other than the "professional" piece he states publicly

Trump IS the deep state.
His cult is too stupid to figure it out or they did and just don't care.

Trump Taps Palantir to Create Master Database on Every ...

The Trump administration is collecting data on all Americans, and they are enlisting the data analysis company Palantir to do it.

The New York Times reports that President Trump has enlisted the firm, founded by far-right billionaire Peter Thiel, to carry out his March executive order instructing government agencies to share data with each other. The order has increased fears that the government is putting together a database to wield surveillance powers over the American public.

Isn't Thiel , Vance's $$$ man?

Since then, the administration has been very quiet about these efforts, increasing suspicion. Meanwhile, Palantir has taken more than $113 million in government spending since Trump took office, from both existing contracts and new ones with the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. That number is expected to grow, especially given that the firm just won a new $795 million contract with the DOD last week.

The administration’s efforts to compile data began under Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency initiative, which sought Americans’ personal data from multiple agencies including the IRS, the SSA, Selective Service, Medicare, and many others.
