Trump has promised mass deportations. Can he do it in his 2nd term as president?

I'd rather my tax dollars be used for keeping this country SAFE, and CLEAN....than having my money stolen out from under me and sent to our ENEMIES.

Trump HAS the power, especially if he deems it an invasion, which it is. He can involve the military, and once he does, thats it.....the country can be swept clean by any means necessary.

If these people want to come here, they can stand in line filling out paperwork like ALL THE LEGAL ONES DO!!!

I suspect the deportations will start with the criminals in custody that FKH let in first. Then the got-aways who are picked-up along the line.

To be honest that's about all I expect to start with.....Well that and building the wall.

Remember, the millions FKH paroled into the country have some legal status so the low-hanging fruit will be picked first.

He can and he will.

It will be by order or priority. People who have committed crimes above and beyond entering America and then go down the list.

If I were Trump, I would honestly offer an olive branch to any of these citizens who enter America (assuming they haven't committed any other crime in addition to entering America) and who sign up or are willing to sign up for the U.S military. Perhaps offering them a path to citizenship, over a period of a few years, but much quicker than others.

To me that would suggest they are willing to risk their lives for America and worth keeping. Courage is the greatest attribute a society can have and worth protecting.

Absolutely. Although I suspect a high number of illegals will self-deport which would give them the ability to choose the time and method of being deported instead of just ending up on a slow boat to Krapistan with little notice.

Illegal migrants rush to cross border before Trump takes office and institutes crack down

A large group of more than 100 migrants scrambled across the border as dawn broke on Eagle Pass, Texas — just hours after former President Trump won the 2024 election with a vow to secure the borders and crack down on illegal immigration.

Border Patrol sources say migrants groups are trying to rush into the US before Trump takes office and enacts much tougher policies for illegal immigrants.

It will be an incremental process, starting - obviously - with an attempt to identify all of the imports with serious criminal records from abroad, then those who have committed crimes here.

Then there will be an emphasis on current laws prohibiting the hiring of those who are not legally in the country.

Then there will be a reversal of the discretionary shit that Biden pulled, making illegals legal with special status - those will be revoked.

Then there will be an attempt at the Federal level to remove any benefits from the "safety net" that illegals are now able to collect.

Probably, there will be no rounding up of masses of people and shipping them "back to where you came from."

Also on the immigration front, there will be an attempt to legislatively kill the abominable practice of "birthright citizenship," which despite perennial Leftist howling, is NOT part of the 14th Amendment - merely a distortion of one tiny provision.

I would like to see a law - now legislatively feasible - that says, in effect, "If you came here illegally, you can NEVER be a voting citizen."

Congress will need to allocate funds for the deportations. So far no budget has been made fer next year.

The scum needs to be deported.

Nope, it is part of the 14th and was put there for a reason.

Not as much as you might think. Many illegals will pay their own way out of the country instead of riding in the steerage section on the Slow Boat to Krapistan. in addition, money can be diverted from other budget items and other nations can be dunned for the money to transport their own citizens.

The 14th Amendment was designed to insure the rights of the freed slaves and their descendants after the War of Northern Aggression in the 19th Century.

It had nothing to do with illegals coming to America in the 21st.
I am sure you think that you know how the US was founded with immigration that was only "legal".

TRUMP! isn't in office yet, either. Got anything else, captain obvious?

Actually, the US was founded with Deportations. People who just wanted to follow their religious faith were expelled and sent to America.

President Trump is just following America's great tradition with the idea of deportation.

It will be similar to his building of the big beautiful wall. He got 40 miles done on a 2000 mile border in four years time.

He'll get a similar ratio with his deportations.

.

I don't think that's as big a job as it sounds. Cut off the flow from the government tit and they'll head for someplace more lucrative.

And he can cut off all aid to their countries of origin, and they'll magically have tickets home.

Look....social security needs numbers....
If an illegal alien agrees to work and contribute to social security knowing that he will never collect from it I say let him stay. If in the course of that career he decides to make an honest bid for citizenship he should understand that it might take him years to get it.

End the wars...... That one action all by itself will improve every single aspect of the economy.

I think Trump should make an offer to those who self-deport: $10,000 with an escort to an airport or bus station. It can be done on one specific day per week at various locations throughout the country.

But first, a hard seal on the border.
