I think the Pope image was the line.
When he crossed it there was no going back.

Tariffs on movies, reopening Alcatraz bans on certain religious demographics, these aren't policies, this is him in a deep psychotic loop where he thinks revenge is somehow governing.
And it's a feedback loop with the cult, the crazier he get the louder they cheer and every cheer just convinces him more and more that he's "the chosen one" as he has referred to himself on occasion.
So he takes it further and further, looking for more adulation from cultists.
He's not making policy decisions, he playacting for the faithful and his own delusional self-image.
And his cultists, thoroughly brainwashed idiots that they are, eat it up and feed his delusions of grandeur.
And that's the loop. He does crazier shit to impress them, they cheer him on to the next delusional incident. in some insane MAGA church revival kinda scene.
It's like throwing gasoline on a fire.
But the loop may be closing, too many MAGAts are unwilling to overlook the Epstein files thing. This desperate accusing of anyone and everyone who has ever pissed trump off (and that's a whole lotta people) is a sign that he and those close to him can feel it tightening, like a noose.
Ironic that the one who could finally take trump down may be trump himself.
