Because the truth is, Trump can't do much to change the price of oil, coal, etc. I mean he can by disrupting the markets and colluding with coal miners but usually, presidents can't lower the cost of food and energy.

If coal is the chosen energy source, then they will raise their prices as much as they can. But not so high it changes public opinion on it. I say 10 cents less than clean energy will buy these suckers.
