There was no law in the indictment. The "law" was thrown in during the closing arguments. Yet, what was stated isn't a law on the books. Not only that, the court is not a federal court. So, it has no jurisdiction over election laws for the Presidency.
Not only that, paying off a hooker to keep the affair from the public during an election isn't against the law either. If it were, Biden would be in jail as well since he and all the Democrats kept Hunter's laptop from being used in the election that would have given the Presidency to Trump. Can't have it both ways.
