I didn't write the meme/pic (I don't actually know how to create memes; I suspect it's not hard). I didn't think you'd think the "you" in it referred to you specifically. I think you may have, however. My bad on that; I should have chosen one that doesn't use the personal pronoun.

No problem. And again, I didn't mean to make an issue of it. Democrats say that all the time, if you criticize Democrats without criticizing Republicans, you're not a libertarian because you took sides. On the other hand, if you just criticize Republicans that's fine.
I know you're not a Democrat though. So that's why I was asking the point you were making. We're good, we can move on!

What is it with that?
I don't know who here has raised kids or had siblings. I've done the former, and it took me until my kids were about 14 or so before I got it through their thick heads that when I chided one of them for doing something it was because of what they did and nothing else. That their brother/sister had done something similar and without reprimand had nothing to do with it and wasn't going to change a thing about what was going on "right now" and how I intended to deal with it.
When I see folks on here do about the same thing, all I think, "Jesus H. Christ. I've already been through this kind of conversation with three kids...when they were kids, not as adults. Am I in here conversing with children pretending to be adults or what? Grow-the-"F"-up and have a mature conversation! Please!"
