Trump fires trump ballroom architect

As a Real Estate Developer, Trump knows to tear down first without permission.
Then it is too late to stop him
This is a continuation of a Trump family trait.

Fred Trump bought part of Coney Island, the legendary Luna Park.

After promising to work with preservationists, Trump demolished the park, reveling in the largely negative publicity.

in thec1980’s, his son boight the site of Bonwit Teller, the department store, whose Art Deco facade was one of the most distinctive on Fifth Ave.

After promising to work with preservationists, and a wild promise to donate the entire facade to the Metropolitan Museum,

Trump demolished the structure (using scab labor), reveling in the largely negative publicity.

contrary to your incorrect claim, develops seldom demolish anything before they have a plan for what goes up in its place.

There are several reasons.

One, if you have no plan, you don’t know what, or how much to demolish.

Demolition of old buildings requires a lot of permitting and review. The building to be demolished must be surveyed and all hazardous waste identified, and a plan developed for their handling and disposal. This usually takes months.

And, most important, developers don’t demolish something before there is a plan because they don’t want to pay interest on the construction loans before they have a plan. Paying interest on destruction work on an empty lot drives up costs.

And since Trump will almost certainly feud with his design team and his construction manager, those costs will continue to grow.

No one even comes close to Trump.
He either fires them or doesn't pay them.

Trump has always been grifter.
I hope he got half his $$$, up front.

I wouldn’t want to be Clark Construction.

McCreary is screwed.

There is little doubt that he will wind up mired in litigation trying to get paid.

WOW.

I'm surprised Trump had construction companies lined up.
You are correct.

Clark came on a construction manager. They. Have a lot of experience with Federal projects, particularly in and around DC. They practically lived at the NIH.

They’re certainly the ones who supervised the demolition.

I’m sure the unpaid bills, the change orders and the requests for information are piling up.

The project is not "mired in controversy".
Too bad Trump has a hardon for brown immigrants like the ones he hired to build Trump Tower, etc. paying them shit wages under poor working conditions etc. etc. They could have helped to build his ballroom which is nothing but a monument to his overblown depraved ego.

Is he still trying to squeeze U.S. taxpayers for $230 million to pay for this playground for the well connected billionaire oligarchs who he sucks up to?

He should build a Ballroom and make Mexico pay for it

Wnat would happen to you if you lived in a historic building and added an addition with no permits, no consultation with historical commissions ?

You would be forced to tear it down

Considering the white house was built by slaves, im surprised democrats are so interested in this. This is the only part of the white house that wasnt built by slaves.

I dont disagree with the ballroom, maybe the size of it is questionable. It will be useful. There have been various alterations to the white house over the years.

But none as big and beautiful as the Trump Ballroom!

Lol, well, sometimes bigger isnt always better. I dont think they needed it to be the size of two football fields.

Lack of a ballroom never kept me up at night, but it keeps Trump up at night.

We have room for 200 now
Why do we need space for over 1000?

I appreciate our national monuments
The idea that our White House will be dwarfed by a Ballroom appalls me
Tear it down and right size it

So no one has ever fired a contractor or hired help?
I have been hiring and firing contractors for over 40 years.

What’s your point?
