Trump financial officer Allen Weisselberg sentenced to five months in jail

Wow five whole months either he had really good lawyer the case against him was weak or a combination of both.
He got a deal. He spilled the beans on Trump businesses..and he basically got a pass. One wonders..when his help will actually come to light...and what form his revelations will take?
The Prosecution is not in the habit of giving light sentences away~

What beans did he spill? The Prosecution will give a light sentence when they over promises on what they can deliver and have to make a deal like this to save face. This tends to be the result of letting partisan politics influence your decision making I don’t expect much else if anything to come from this but time will tell.

"Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan said that after listening to Weisselberg's trial testimony, he regretted agreeing to a five-month jail term, and if not for that agreement, he "would be imposing a sentence much greater than that." Merchan said he was especially appalled by Weisselberg's testimony that he gave his wife a $6,000 check for a no-show job so that she could qualify for Social Security benefits."

yet you all claimed his testimony would convict Trump you repeated it for months. He stated Trump had nothing to do with it.
Uh, I did?

What he did was lie in court and say Trump knew nothing about it. Then the prosecutors provided a pile of evidence that Trump did know. So that's not the end of that.

Eve
And yet No charges against Trump and his sworn testimony was that Trump knew nothing. You are delusional.
Lick, suck, drool over and defend an ex president who tried to take over our country for no good god damn reason but that he wanted to remain in power. And to add insult, you show yourself in an American uniform of the U.S Military. What a piece of shit you are.

Not to burst your bubble..but Oswald was killed by Jack Ruby long before he could be tried for anything.
Sure, you just go right on believing the official cover story that a spurious club owner just set out to throw his life away to kill a total stranger! And the official records show that Osward was for shit as far as shooting was concerned.

In the military the Sharpshooter Badge was the medium award and meant the soldier was a good shot with his weapon.
The best shooters earned the Expert Badge. .. :salute:
It was hard not to shoot Expert when all you had to do was shot in front of the target and the round would bounce up into it. Nobody would shot expert if the target was shooting back at them.

you have no idea how the Marines used targets and shooting unlike the army the Marines did not use knock down targets they used paper targets in fixed positions and the round had to HIT the target

Slap on the wrist..but still..a conviction:

Longtime Trump Organization finance chief Allen Weisselberg, who pleaded guilty in August to 15 counts including tax fraud, conspiracy and grand larceny, on Tuesday was sentenced to serve five months in jail.
Authorities had promised Weisselberg a steeply reduced sentence in exchange for testifying against Trump Organization. He had faced up to 15 years in prison.
Weisselberg, testifying as a witness for the prosecution during a Trump Organization criminal trial in New York Supreme Court in November, said on cross-examination that he was embarrassed by his conduct and that his actions betrayed the Trump family, for whom he had worked for a half-century. Weisselberg testified that he was acting only for his own benefit.

The company was convicted of tax crimes in December. It had been charged with scheme to defraud, conspiracy, criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records. Former president Donald Trump was not charged with wrongdoing in the case.
Another win for the good guys.
