Trump never passes up an opportunity for self-promotion. His campaign took advantage of the anniversary of troop loss in Afghanistan by organizing a photo op at Arlington Cemetary with the lost soldier's families. Make no mistake. His PR people thought up and organized that ceremony specifically for publicity. There is nothing that self-promoting narcissist won't do for publicity.
What I understand is Trump made a deal that released 5000 terrorists and right before he left office he drew down troops to 2500 while at the same time expecting those 2500 troops to pull out billions of dollars worth of equipment and a bunch of people who ignored months of warnings to evacuate from a hostile country in a few short months.
I guess Biden could have spent billions more to redeploy the troops Trump just brought home but then trumpers would be making threads that Biden spent our tax money as a warmonger to disturb the bigliest peace deal ever made (from Trump of course).
Nearly 6 in 10 military veterans voted for Republican candidates in the November midterm elections, and a similar majority had positive views of President Donald Trump's leadership. But women, the fastest growing demographic group in the military, are defying that vote trend.
That isn't campaigning at the site, which is what the law is about I believe. I want to see the actual words of the law, which no articles on the issue seem to cite.
One of your most reprehensible posts. Biden and Harris orchestrated those 13 Marines horrible deaths with the complete botching of the Afghanistan withdrawal. Why weren't they at Arlington? Oh right, the families refused to invite the MURDERERS OF THEIR SONS.
Fact 1: Trump made the deal
Fact 2: The deal was done without the Afghan government
Fact 3: The deal agreed to the release of FIVE THOUSAND Taliban warriors before March 10th. They were then released by August 2020 (of about 5,000 Taliban who were imprisoned, as there were only 100 left by September)
"The Taliban have mounted more than 4,500 attacks in Afghanistan, marking a sharp escalation in violence, in the 45 days since signing a deal with the United States that paves the way for a U.S. troop drawdown, according to data seen by Reuters."
Fact 5: The US stopped supporting the Afghan govt's offensive operations as soon as the deal was signed.
Fact 6: The US gave up responsibility of policing Afghan airspace to the Taliban
"US to Taliban: Afghanistan’s airspace control is your problem, not ours"
Fact 7: Afghanistan was a total mess by the time Biden got in power. The situation was essentially lost. Nothing much Biden could have done.
Fact 8: The US was down to 2,500 troops by the time Trump left office.

That's the thing about you cult members. You always accuse others of doing what you do. I guess that's your way of trying to make what you did not sound so wrong.

Yes, but remember to quote all I say instead of just a few words. She only wants to continue spending the funds that have already been approved for the wall. That is only 3% of what it would cost to complete the entire wall. We have tons of material already paid for and delivered, and it's laying there rusting. We might as well go ahead and spend that 3% instead of just letting the already paid for and delivered material just rust away. What she proposes is pocket change compared to the billions it would take to build the wall as trump proposed.
