Trump is considering running for a FL House seat in 2022.
Assuming he wins easily, and then gets elected speaker after the 2022 mid-terms, he would be back in the saddle pushing America First Priorities, and canceling the democrat's anti-American agenda.
Would Nancy hand the gavel to Trump or would she have a stroke?
How sweet would that be, Nancy handing Trump the gavel?
Maybe no one would?
Maybe he just pick it up from the lectern?
Would the GOP House and Senate tip Joe Xiden into an early "retirement"?

Will 2022 will be a turning point back to sanity, or will the US continue to plunge into the democrat's abyss?
Do you see your own projection in your post? I mean, in your hypothetical if Trump runs for the House and wins, you ask, Will Nancy hand over the gavel and how sweet she will be..etc.

We know that Trump had a virtual stroke when he lost the election, he refused to concede, and he continues to lie about his loss.

In other words, you are asking will Nancy act like Trump.

Your thread is unintentionally hilarious.
If/when it happens, I'm sure you'll be laughing your ass off.

Pretty far fetched. He could never win in Palm Beach where he lives. The question then becomes which rural redneck district he must move to in order to callously use like a stepping stone to further his agenda?
He ain't got that much time left to live.
We can only hope. The good die young but evil men seem to live on and on. Look at Cheney.

Apparently you missed the news, the Cheney Family are now admirable as they've embraced leftardism.
They are still as big-business conservative as they ever were, they just know Trump is bad for business. You don't even see how dangerous it is for conservatism to be defined simply as devotion to a single man.

Maybe big business people figure they can make more money with Sleepy Joe as autocrat?

But as far as the Republican Party, the GOP isn't a viable, sustainable organization going forward if they tell the 75 million little Trumpsters to take a hike.

First. I think that his plan would result in Republicans losing seats. And that would make him at best Minority Leader, assuming he won the election. It hands Democrats the only issue they need to win, and with eighteen more months of insane rants about fantasy stolen elections, the Republican Party would be dead until 2040 at the earliest.
You are not factoring in the nasty price increases under Xiden.
Normal mid-terms mean the GOP wins the House and Senate back.
Trump lost in 2020 by about 43,000 votes.
Voters will prefer Trump's America First policies over Xiden's Russia First and China First policies.

Nancy already does “act just like Trump”, they’re both power hungry lunatics.

Proof that Nancy is exactly like Trump. QED.

His first act as speaker could be to bring joint articles of impeachment against Biden and Harris. He would definitely have far more reason than they did against him. We need to end this sham Presidency.
First he'd have to get off his fat ass and campaign.
Trump was probably the most energetic President this country has ever seen so laziness isn't his problem. He can be pretty uncool at times but laziness isn't one of his drawbacks.

It's not like no one ever told them that playing to the deplorables was a dead-end strategy. They did it anyway and now we all have to pay the price for the republican's lack of imagination.

I like the idea of Trump as speaker better than as president. He only needs to win in one safe district, so the MSM would be castrated and frustrated. Besides Trump can only win one more presidential election per the 22nd Amendment, so we'd be much better off electing a two term GOP president than Trump who is term limited.

The Romney-McCain-Bush strategy was a failure.

And if they return to it, it will still be a failure.

BTW, how are the libs "paying a price" at all, if they won an election and will continue to do so if the GOP nominates establishment figures who hate the Deplorables?

All Americans will eventually suffer some sort of misfortune with a loose cannon party running half the country who already accept insurrection as a legitimate political strategy.

Nope. Here’s why. If the Trump Fanboys were rational you might be right. But the constant assertions that the election was stolen without a shred of proof makes them sound just insane.

And insanity is not a big selling point. Ask Ross Perot and his army of trained CIA assassins trying to stop him from running. Ask Howard Dean how it worked out.

Crazy just doesn’t sell. So if the plan is to get Trump into the Speakers position and then either impeach or force both Biden and Harris to step down, that is a coup. And most people are not going to support it. Democrats keep seats. Perhaps even picking up a few. And Republicans die as a viable choice.

It is true that 60% of Republicans believe the election was stolen. It is also true that 75% of the people do not believe it. And you can’t win the majority without the moderates, and you won’t get them with that insanity.

Politics is not supposed to be a playground game.
.

Although I don't think it will happen, don't live in Florida so that part doesn't matter, and don't think we should keep playing games ...
I may be opposed to the idea, but I still think it would be funny as shit to watch if it did.

Of course I have resigned to the idea that it is pretty much just a Circus of Assclowns on Capitol Hill already.

Trump doesn't even have to run. The speaker of the house is whoever the majority party wants to be speaker. It doesn't even have to be a member of congress.

The Constitution does not require the speaker to be an incumbent member of the House of Representatives, although every speaker thus far has been. The speaker is second in the United States presidential line of succession, after the vice president and ahead of the president pro tempore of the Senate.

Prove your post that 1/2 the country accepts insurrection as legitimate. I'm calling you a liar. Prove I'm wrong.

Actually Trump need not even run for congress. As the speaker of the house is elected by the majority party from anyone they might choose.

And if chosen speaker, Trump would become 2nd in line back to the presidency.

I hope he knocks that power grabbing bitch Pelosi clean out of the Speakership.

Has a former president ever become a member of Congress AFTER being president?
