This is proof Trump is not an ideologue. I don't smoke the stuff, it's legal here in Canada though because Canadians realize that sending people to prison for this is foolish and expensive. Those who I knew who smoked were more relaxed and NEVER violent.
We've all heard of the violent drunk (I am the happy drunk type though I don't drink much at all anymore) but no one has ever said "that guy's a violent weed smoker".
People don't need to smoke, it's not good for you. People dont need to drink either, it's not good for you. Or eat highly processed carbs and sugar, it's not good for you.
The FBI have to deal with China don't they? Chasing young people smoking a plant seems like a poor use of resources.

President Donald Trump is weighing whether to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug, according to a report.
Trump told attendees at a $1 million-a-plate fundraiser at his New Jersey golf club earlier this month he was interested in making a change to the plant's classification, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
This comes after cannabis companies have committed millions of dollars to the president's political groups, according to the report.
