Trump considering taking $3 billion in Harvard grants, giving them to trade schools

This would be awesome if Trump could pull this off.
I would much rather see the money going to fund future plumbers and electricians, than funding and indoctrinating future America and western-hating leftists.

China is laughing at this. We aren’t going to maintain any economic edge by taking away from cutting edge research and training more plumbers.

So unless they indoctrinate kids with right-wing bs and fake Christian nationalism, then the president can try cutting off funding. Digita Drifter doesn't understand just how much the export of American education creates for this economy. So Trump wants the best and brightest in the world to go to Oxford, Cambridge, the University of Beijing, etc.
It's a trade school, the teach the student what they need to know for the trade they chose. They don't indoctrinate like colleges do.

No country, including China, especially China finds American college courses and economic edge.
10. Princeton to offer ‘Black + Queer in Leather’ course

Princeton University will offer “Black + Queer in Leather: Black Leather/BDSM Material Culture” as a spring semester course. The New Jersey course will be taught by Tiona Nekkia McClodden, who is a Princeton Arts Fellow and a Lecturer in Lewis Center for the Arts.

“Black Queer BDSM material culture resists contextualization in relationship to biographical narratives because of the underground elements of the community,” the course description reads. “This course will explore the material culture of this community from three perspectives: Architecture + Location, Visual Artists and Exhibitions, and Black Queer BDSM communities with a significant research focus on finding and presenting new materials.”

9. Harvard course focuses on implementing ‘sustainable antiracist DEI systems’

For the Spring 2023 semester, Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education is offering a course titled “Walk the Talk: Institutionalizing Sustainable Anti-racist DEI Work,” which aims to teach students how to prepare for a diversity, equity, and inclusion-filled future.

“Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)-focused positions have exploded throughout corporate and public institutions and systems over the past few years, especially in U.S. higher education,” the course description claims.

I really like the idea. Harvard and schools like it are already flooded with huge endowments. Think of how even a fraction of this grant money would be a big deal and very beneficial to a trade school.

Hey! Try not to be an illiterate dipshit and see what the $3 billion came from. It came from research grants.

Wow. Apparently, in MAGAmerica, science and engineering are bad.
Oh, never mind trade schools then.

Don't bother calling plumbers or electricians then. That's where they come from. Can't do much science when your house is flooded and the power's out, can you, Coyote?

You forget who's important and who is vital.
