That teachers know what they are teaching these days. Those who insist on there not being any freedom to teach forget the pervasive nature of politics in our schooling. They know, yet they do not change. They know and subject themselves an irrationally rigid teaching ethic that strips the meaning of knowledge and instead teaches the art of impression.

I have very poor faith in our K-12 STEM system as it stands.

Teachers essentially teach politics instead of history. They don't convey the factual nature of our history; instead, they teach a biased, politically slanted version of it. When it comes to science, the transgender plague runs rampant. They try to impose scientifically inaccurate gender ideals. A number of them are politically driven, imposing their worldviews and ideologies on impressionable children and teenagers.

These teachers know what their job entails, yet they go willingly. They don't actively resist, they throw themselves at it. I see them willingly corrupting themselves instead of standing up to the system.

So, where is basic research going to come from, if the Feds don’t finance it? So much of our prosperity is the result of industry applying research we all paid for and would never have happened in a corporation worried about quarterly reports.
