Actually, this could be a good thing. These are 500,000 Chinese who will be exposed to American culture and will be spending money at American universities.

Long-term, this could put pressure on the CCP to loosen up and implement reforms as these people move up in the Meritocracy over there.

Also, look at the cushion the great friend of the world provided for Trump vs the well padded, chair Xi had.
