You don't think America is rapidly becoming a literal police state? Trump, Palantir, Oracle, Google, and many others are fighting hard to create a totalitarian Spy Network as we speak. Data Centers are popping up all around us. All new vehicles are required to have technology that can shut your car off at any moment.

America is no longer the land of Skittles and Unicorns. It's no longer the land of the free. And our President is actively trying to import 600,000 Communist Chinese students and offering to sell American land to an adversary. Things aren't looking good.
Relax, it is only 500,000...

Just round it up to a cool million.

Nothing I can do about that, I wouldn't have allowed this.
It'll be more than a million when he adds the Pakistanis, Indians, Nigerians, Venezuelans, and everyone else in. We can rename America: "The New United Tower of Babel."

I know, Snidely, you think there's a Chinese hiding under your bed.

Actually, this could be a good thing. These are 500,000 Chinese who will be exposed to American culture and will be spending money at American universities.

Long-term, this could put pressure on the CCP to loosen up and implement reforms as these people move up in the Meritocracy over there.

Why? You will never stop supporting Trump... What does he have to lose. Case in point.
"We obliterated Iranian nuke program" July 2025.
"We have to go back to obliterate the Iranian Nuke program" February 2026
I can disagree with Trump on these issues. I want him to change his mind,
Unlike democrats who always "circle the wagons" no matter how stupid the policy is
When asked how both of the above can be true at the same time.....you mumble some BS gobbltyguk about how he's playing 4 dimensional chess or how they were able to do better than our Manhattan project even though many of their scientists were killed in the initial attack.
Iran won't stop their nuclear weapons program even though we obliterate parts of it.
I still support the war in Iran to stop the crazy mullahs
You gave up any independent thought a long time ago. What is worse is that you gave up using logic. You prove that with each passing post.
We disagree on just about everything, but we do post our rationale'.
We just use alternate facts to prove our points.

It is funny how much taller they made President Xi. He is maybe 5'10 and as they walk around he is as tall as Trump. Platform raised shoes for sure.

Also, look at the cushion the great friend of the world provided for Trump vs the well padded, chair Xi had. The communists know what they are doing, we in the West do not except for a handful of sharp hawks (not military per se, though if needed, the world must defend Taiwan or the economy around the globe is finished).

Wow, those devious Chinese, messing with the seat cushions.

I have to ask, did you get a happy ending that went terribly wrong?

Is Dotard getting ready to take a shit on another ally?

Why This Was the Riskiest Move of Trump’s China Trip

President Trump has described a potential multibillion-dollar weapons sale to Taiwan as a “negotiating chip” with China, raising new doubts about the pace and scale of American military support for the island democracy.

Taiwan’s government has been waiting months for Mr. Trump to sign off on a $14 billion package of missiles, anti-drone equipment and air-defense systems intended to fortify the island against Beijing’s military threats.

Mr. Trump himself had pressured Taiwan to spend more on its own defense. Now he is using the very arms his administration had pushed the island to buy as leverage with China, the United States’ main adversary.

Mr. Trump told reporters on Air Force One after leaving China on Friday that he had discussed the weapons package with China’s president, Xi Jinping, during their summit this past week in Beijing. He was asked in an interview with Fox News whether he would approve the Taiwan deal.

“No, I’m holding that in abeyance and it depends on China,” he said in the interview, which was recorded in Beijing but aired after he left. “It depends.”
