Donald Trump’s Co-Chair of the “Veterans For Trump” Coalition in New Hampshire, Jerry Delemus, was just arrested by the FBI on nine charges, including conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States.

Jerry Delemus, a significant component of Trump’s campaign effort to attract veterans, is a Tea Party activist who made trips to take part in the Bundy Ranch stand-off. According to the indictment being brought against him, Delemus was “a mid-level leader and organizer of the conspiracy who, among other things: recruited, organized, trained and provided logistical support to gunmen and other followers and organized and led armed patrols and security checkpoints.”

Presidential Candidates on both sides of the aisle are not responsible for the independent actions of their staff, outside of the context of the campaign in question...

And, while it is true that a Candidate should properly screen leadership roles on the higher levels, it is ludicrous to posit that a Candidate should be held responsible for the nature or actions of a deputy chief on a microscopic state-level NPO which has little or no interaction with a national campaign staff and less than that with the Candidate in question...

But, if you insist on playing that game...

Consider that the leading Candidate in the Opposing Party has someone very close to her that was actually impeached by the US House of Representatives for false representations to Congress and obstructing justice, after abusing the Trust of The People and soiling the reputation and good standing of the Nation's highest office...

Never mind the trail of corruption and bodies in the wake of that Opposing Leading Candidate.

Nor the immunity recently granted to one of her staffers, to cooperate-with the Justice Department in determining the extent of wrongdoing and lying-under-oath for which the Opposing Leading Candidate may very shortly be held to account.
