You're just changing the subject. Trump and his RINO minions have the trifecta. They were supposed to reduce spending back in March. If they had, then the debt ceiling wouldn't even be an issue now.
Trump & and the RINO's want to continue to spend more. So they'll eliminate the debt ceiling so this topic never comes up again. And they won't be held accountable for spending too much.

And like a good sheep, you totally ignore those important points and try to make out like Trump is making the right decision in eliminating it.

There is no trifecta. In order to have the trifecta in the Senate, you need at least 60 votes.

now the Senate republicans get their bite at the apple. We'll see how tough they are.

My current betting is that nothing passes and the old tax cuts expire, and the new tax cuts don't happen..

Trump has been calling for suspending the debt ceiling before he took office.

And what I said then is just as true now.

There is one reason, and only one reason, a politician wants the debt ceiling suspended, and that is because they intend to add a fuck-ton more debt.

Raising the debt ceiling is not high enough. They want it entirely suspended.

As others have pointed out, the hypocritical MAGAs are always dead silent when it comes to Republicans and Trump running up astronomical debt.

They probably don't even know the debt ceiling was suspended twice under Trump 1.0.

Once you inform them of that, their default, programmed, knee-jerk, ignorant response is always, "Because Covid!"

But the debt ceiling was raised twice and suspended twice BEFORE Covid.

And that's how Trump was able to increase the debt by $8 trillion without so much as a whimper from the MAGA herd.

He's going to do it again because he knows they are totally submissive to him.
