We only know that the 4.5 million were given their LEGAL chance of seeking asylum in our immigration court based on their acceptable interview with border agents. Only a judge can decide, under the law....and many are eventually denied by the court judge and deported upon ruling.

Our problems come with not funding the immigration courts properly, and NOW almost a 5 year wait for their court date, that should be a month.

The Senate immigration bill should have been passed! It funded the courts and the back log cases, it funded more border patrol and more detention centers to hold the encounters until they are interviewed by agents for acceptance or denial.

If VP Harris wins, this law and funding, will be put in place and we can finally start addressing our problems, through the law instead of executive orders... that can flip flop from one president to another.

What you NEGLECT to acknowledge is that millions of the encounters are denied entry, when interviewed by border agents....they are not let in to the country...there is no open border for every encounter at the border....
