Communism is a thing, it's never been achieved. We call countries like the USSR, China, Cuba etc Communist because, supposedly, they're working towards Communism, not that they're actually Communist.

China doesn't even really bother trying to claim it's even aiming for Communism. It says it's "Communism with Chinese Characteristics" which means... it's whatever they want it to be.

The USSR was far more Communist, but still, not very Communist, and it seemed to have stopped working towards Communism very early on.
