Trump budget seeks $1.5T in defense spending alongside cuts in domestic programs

You need to look at yourselves and you never do. You treat the system as a joke and have run rampant on it. A nation with a constitution that promotes freedoms does not last if it is corrupted. You are the total equality party and yet your politicians/media/entertainers/elites live the capitalist lifestyle near all in the world could only dream of. That is a major red flag. Great life for the top few per cent and commie living in a declining economy for the rest.
That's so funny because I would say the exact same thing about you. "You treat the system as a joke and have run rampant on it" - how dare you type that while supporting an absolute clown show for over 10 years now :fu:

We pay into Medicare and SS. They`re not entitlements. :icon_rolleyes:
Yes, they are entitlements.

We pay into the US Govt it's called taxes....the fact we pay into the Govt doesn't mean something isn't an entitlement

Entitlement programs are federally or jointly funded programs that guarantee benefits to all individuals who meet legally defined eligibility rules.

You guys will bring up Social Security and Medicare and call the entitlements when cutting any Welfare type program is talked about.

You voted for Biden, can’t get more clowns

If you ever earned a paycheck, you would see that your deductions are itemized. Get an effin job already and become a taxpayer instead of a leech.

The system needs cuts. We do not have the courage to do so. No one wants to lose anything from any program they are in. That is human nature. Freezing the budget for a couple of years would help out or only increasing the yearly federal budget at half the inflation rate for a period of years would help out also or something similar yet there would be pain somewhere. So that is serious. Limiting end of life hospice or costs that are excessive would save money also as another example. How about real welfare reform. We are seeing just the tip of the corruption in our federal social programs.

That's what republicans always say before completely obliterating spending records
Well, they haven't....Obama has that record

Then of course, we got Harris and Xiden....https://epicforamerica.org/federal-budget/the-biden-harris-spending-binge/

  • The Biden-Harris Administration increased the federal deficit by about $2.5 trillion more than what the Congressional Budget Office projected for fiscal years 2021-2024. Spending surged by about $4.7 trillion and tax revenues by about $2.2 trillion. The national debt rose to $35.5 trillion.
  • Americans are worse off now than they were four years ago. The Administration’s policies led to the highest rates of inflation in four decades, reducing the average worker’s purchasing power by about $2,230.
  • President Biden and Vice President Harris made repeated, deliberate decisions that raised government spending by 22 percent more than what it would have been under prior law. This increased inflation, which in turn exacerbated autopilot spending.
  • Soaring interest costs, expanded welfare programs, and student debt transfers were the main contributors to the four-year spending surge.
  • Government spending is on an unsustainable trajectory that threatens the value of the dollar.

deductions? I haven't been a W-2 employee for years, I run my own business.

but are you all calling tax withholdings deductions now? haqhhaha

anyway, I am still unsure what your point is, yes we pay taxes....that doesn't mean something is or isn't an entitlement program

Name the deductions

More and more spending is being cut in exchange for an increase to the (already) largest military in the world. What a joke.
