Iran had already rejected a deal with the US and Trump gave himself up to two weeks to decide if the US would bomb Iran's nuclear sites. Of course if Iran had decided to take his no enrichment deal, it would have influenced his decision. The key words are, he gave himself up to two weeks.

Two things really concern me about this strike.
1. The people who are usually dead wrong are celebrating. People like Lindsey, Bolton, and Pence.
2. The reality-defying rhetoric, common from the government when it is trying to reframe something that is difficult to justify. Rubio is claiming interest in peaceful diplomacy, and Vance is saying we didn't attack Iran.

This is the opposite of peaceful diplomacy, and of course we attacked Iran. Make reality-based cases to support the action. Doing otherwise is suspect.
