Well, Dieppe was lead by the British and there are MANY Canadians who survived who despise the British leadership for this failure. They said it was a suicide mission, a slaughter. The British were content to cost Canadian lives instead of British to not upset their citizens at home.
As it were I believe Churchill watched that battle from afar on a ship via binoculars if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps it was another battle, regardless.
I think the Germans the Canadians faced were not only well prepared but also on meth at that time. The defense on D-Day were not and it was far better planned with excessive support from the air, sea, with massive decoys thanks to British intelligence (Garbo is my favourite recruit), even down to the details of the blockage items that the Germans had on the beach so that soldiers could practice beforehand with similar items.

It's now being speculated that Russia has become the world's greatest military power. That's probably true for several different reasons. If I'm asked then I'll add some of the details, but for an opener, the US navy is a flock of sitting ducks, waiting to be eliminated.
Russia is not able to defeat the Ukraine after 3 years of fighting!
America fought a war against a small country for over 20 years and then ran away defeated.
America attempting to use nuclear weapons would eliminate themselves, as well as Russia and Europe.

Trump was pissed at Zelenskyy.
It's easy to forget but before Z met with OMB, he had a meeting with a bunch of idiots from Congress, most of whom were dimocrap scum. And I believe they told Z to go in there and act all badass and tough with Trump.
It didn't work. And I think the people that told Z that knew it wouldn't and that it would backfire.

C'mon, CB, how is Zelensky going to pay billions for weapons? With our own money that Joe Biden gave him? If Zelensky had money for weapons, he wouldn't need to borrow money from us.
If Zelensky ever repays us at all, it will likely be through trade deals to give us minerals and agriculture. We will be trading human lives for lithium to make car batteries out of.
Add that to the real cost of driving an EV.
