Yes and No. Bezos maintains no editorial control of the paper however he has revolutionized it to an online powerhouse from what was almost just a regional paper with a decent reputation. it was hemorrhaging money, now it's not through online revenue. I'm pretty sure selling subscriptions through Amazon didn't hurt.

Is he good or bad for journalism? I don't see Bezos as particularly political except where politics influences his business. And that can be bad for journalism as he could sway influence over that. Does he?
