I hate Trump with a purple passion, but he reiterated US policy since 1967. Everyone else talks about how they are going to recognize Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel, but when push come to shove they don't.
So is telling Israel to recognize reality, and deal, or is he just telling them to pound sand?

"The businessman also questioned Israelā€™s willingness to negotiate a sweeping Middle East peace deal with the Palestinians, a stance challenged earlier in the day by one of his top rivals, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.
ā€œI donā€™t know that Israel has a commitment to make a deal,ā€ Mr. Trump told hundreds of members of the Republican Jewish Coalition who gathered a few blocks from the White House to hear from each of the GOP candidates.

Mr. Trumpā€™s unwillingness to commit to recognizing Jerusalem and his skepticism about the Israelisā€™ willingness to broker a deal capped a restrained, if unconventional, appearance before the organization, which includes a number of top donors to GOP candidates.
The celebrity businessman, responding to a question from the event organizer, did not immediately seem to grasp the significance of recognizing Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.

He told a group of AIPAC Israeli contributor's "Its Israel's move, you can't buy me!"

He did mention that he will declare Jerusalem the capital of Israel in a fundraiser with his Jewish daughter, who is very active in Zionist causes. I'd rather have a Trump than a Hillary, Obama, or Sanders in office, wouldn't you?

The OP article is over a month old.

This is from a day ago, so it looks like Trump has amended his comments:
Trump: ā€˜I Am 100% in Favor of Moving US Embassy From Tel Aviv to Jerusalemā€™

JNS.org ā€“ Donald Trump, the front-runner in the polls for the Republican presidential nomination, said he supports moving the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Such a move would be ā€œvery goodā€ for Israel, Trump said in an interview with CBN News, adding, ā€œI am for that a hundred percent.ā€ At a Republican Jewish Coalition event in December, Trump was booed when he stopped short of making the same assertion about the embassy and the status of Jerusalem as Israelā€™s undivided capital.
Trump also called the newly implemented nuclear deal between the P5+1 nations and Iran a ā€œtremendous liabilityā€ to Israel that may lead to broad nuclear proliferation in the Middle East.
ā€œI will be very good to Israel,ā€ Trump said. ā€œI will back Israel. We have a president that I think is the worst thing thatā€™s ever happened to Israel, but Iā€™ll be backing it very strongly. Theyā€™re our best ally; theyā€™re our best ally in the Middle East. Theyā€™ve really been loyal to us ā€” we have not been loyal to them.ā€

He hates the Zionists?

Trump has my vote

Even though I don't think Trump has the legs for it, he has my vote as well.

Trump, Mr willing to say anything. He has principles, and if you don't like them, he has other principles.

Donald Trump struggles with Israel question at Republican Jewish summit

"
Donald Trump drew a few rare boos toward the end of his appearance at Thursday's Republican Jewish Coalition candidate forum, after refusing to say that Jerusalem should be the undivided and recognized capital of Israel."

Now he's saying that he's for it. What changed? Someone did the figures and realized how many votes the Jewish lobby can get him?

He was going to go to Israel, said he'd make his decision after going, then didn't go, saying he'd go after he become US president. Er......

Trump postpones trip to Israel

"
"I have decided to postpone my trip to Israel and to schedule my meeting with @Netanyahu at a later date after I become president of the US," he tweeted."

He doesn't care if he spies on them.

Trump: Israel may not want peace with Palestinians

"
Trump: Israel may not want peace with Palestinians

Republican frontrunner in hot water with Jewish voters after refusing to back down on comments he made to AP; 'You're not going to support me even though you know I'm the best thing that could happen to Israel,' he says."

Then makes comments like this.

What is Trump's position? It changes weekly, or even daily. He says what he thinks people want to hear, he doesn't have a position on things other than "Trump".

The last thing we need is Jewish or non-Jewish Conservatives determining US policy.

Like I said I'll take Trump any fucking day over Hillary or Sanders, especially when it comes to Israel.

It's actually true, I believe Netanyahu is pushing forward for the Palestinians initiative due to the recent events and the perspective the EU adopted which will put Israel in a very uncomfortable situation regarding future talks/negotiations.
Excellent move Bibi.

He also said BOTH sides had to negotiate and compromise:He never said Israel had to make all the Concessions. That's good enough for me
