Trump and Putin share handshake in Alaska, a warm greeting belying the bloodshed in Ukraine

Are criticizing the BBB? You criticized one small part. That should not threaten your MAGA membership. What about MAGA members that live in high taxed states.
What are your thoughts on releasing the Epstein files?
I understand that MAGA members in high taxed blue states actually want to represent their states. That should be a good thing, even though I personally would rather see the rich in high taxed blue states suffer and move out. The Epstein files are a nothinburger regarding Trump, otherwise the dems would have already used it as they used virtually everything else to get Trump. There was nothing there regarding Trump or it would have been used.

It was MAGA that has kept it alive. MAGA was calling for the release of the files. Maybe democrats didn't move on it because there are democrat politicians that have concerns. Bill Clinton being one. Trump agreed with MAGA while campaigning the files should be released.
If they are nothing release them.
If they are covering up any pedophile, RELEASE THEM.

A handshake? A freaking handshake is all it takes to make lefties hysterical? TDS has to be a mental illness.

‘Trump greeted Russia’s Vladimir Putin on Friday with a handshake, a smile and a ride in the presidential limousine before talks aimed at ending the conflict in Ukraine, an unusually warm reception for a U.S. adversary responsible for launching the largest land war in Europe since 1945.

Trump and Putin gripped hands for an extended period of time on a red carpet rolled out at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage. As they chatted, Putin grinned and pointed skyward, where B-2s and F-22s — military aircraft designed to oppose Russia during the Cold War — flew overhead.

Reporters nearby yelled, “President Putin, will you stop killing civilians?” and Russia’s leader put his hand up to his ear as though to indicate he couldn’t hear them. Trump and Putin then shared the U.S. presidential limo known as “The Beast” for a short ride to their meeting site, with Putin offering a broad smile as the vehicle rolled past the cameras.

It was the kind of reception typically reserved for close U.S. allies and belied the bloodshed and suffering in the war Putin started in Ukraine. Although not altogether surprising considering their longtime friendly relationship, such outward friendliness before hours of closed-door meetings is likely to raise concerns from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders, who fear that Trump is primarily focusing on furthering U.S. interests and not pressing hard enough for Ukraine’s.’

A victory for Putin, a defeat for Trump.

And no, Putin the war criminal isn't going to stop killing civilians.

Trump, forever Putin’s useful idiot.
trump does not care about Ukraine. He is campaigning for the Peace Prize. He is a despicable POS.

His "50 days or else" threat to Poootin was more BS. Now he is pressuring Zelensky to carry Poootin's water. trump is a lying POS and a Traitor.

A handshake? A freaking handshake is all it takes to make lefties hysterical? TDS has to be a mental illness.
Poootin did not want a cease fire, so the paper tiger, trump, backed off and carried Poootin's water for him. TACO STRIKES AGAIN!

Z man ran on peace. He chose war. Russia said no NATO in Ukraine.

You can never have peace in the world unless every major power is a subservient puppet to the USA. The major countries on America's hit list are China, Russia regionally Iran.

Here is AI on the subject of: America's global plan to maintain primacy.

The United States aims to prevent the emergence of any rival power big enough to threaten its global standing, is a key aspect of US grand strategy, often described as maintaining preponderance or primacy.
Here's a breakdown of what that entails:
  • Preventing the re-emergence of rivals: A dominant consideration is to prevent a rival power, particularly one capable of generating global power, from dominating key regions like Western Europe, East Asia, and Southwest Asia, according to a 1992 New York Times article. This means working to prevent any hostile power from controlling resources sufficient to generate global power.
  • Maintaining global leadership: The United States seeks to maintain its leadership role in the world, believing that a US-led world order promotes peace, liberal democracy, free markets, and the rule of law.
  • Deterring challenges to leadership: The US aims to discourage other advanced industrial nations from challenging its leadership or seeking to overturn the established political and economic order.
Historical context and related doctrines
This concept has been a recurring theme in US foreign policy, although the specific tactics and justifications have evolved.
  • Monroe Doctrine: This early cornerstone of US foreign policy, established in 1823, initially aimed to prevent European powers from further colonization or intervention in the Americas, and has been interpreted and invoked repeatedly throughout history to protect US interests in the Western Hemisphere.
  • Containment: During the Cold War, the US adopted a strategy of containment to prevent the spread of Soviet influence and the rise of a rival superpower.
Current strategies
In the current era of great-power competition, particularly with China and Russia, US defense strategy is adapting to focus on:
  • Balancing competing interests and regions: This involves assessing the appropriate size and deployment of military forces in different parts of the world, like Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia, according to Defense Priorities.
  • Prioritizing certain scenarios: Military-strategic planning in this era emphasizes the challenges of potential great-power conflict and the need for a military structure optimized for such an eventuality, focusing on scenarios like a potential conflict over Taiwan.
  • Strengthening alliances and partnerships: The US emphasizes building strong alliances and partnerships to share defense burdens and costs, enhance collective security, and leverage local actors in addressing security challenges, according to the Stimson Center.

Besides all this, America needs the profits from the war machine. The USA does not make much, but it is a leader in weapons of war manufacturing. The USA wants to wind down Ukraine and let Europe have a go at it. Then the USA can go to war with Iran and destroy it. Once Iran is destroyed, the USA can go back to destroying Russia and then China!

While Putin was making sure Ukraine did not join NATO two of his bordering countries joined NATO. His main concern was not NATO.
He wants the resources of the Ukraine. They are the bread basket of the region. Notice what areas he has gone after. The parts of the Ukraine who have great ports.
Get real dude.
The US almost made the mistake of taking over Cuba after they aligned with Russia during the cold war. Ultimately they did not. Respect nations borders. Give them self determination.
