Trump and Musk are taking their business experience and cutting billions from Government spending

We have examples of how Trump, Musk and mny other successful business people cut costs and increase profits.

They move manufacturing off shore, to save money. When forced to use more expensive US labor, they reduce workforce and want each employee to do more. The business leaders try to stop any attempt to unionize, to force better work conditions.

Trump and Musk have showed no concern for their employees. The focus is for profits for the owners.

Who will do better durring Trump's term, the working class or billionaires?

How many blue collar people does Trump have in his admistration? How many billionaires does he have in his administration?

they're also cutting a lot of dead weight.

Have a problem with that too?

Anyone who has had responsible positions in both the public and private sectors knows the drill.

In the private sector, life includes times when an executive comes in and kicks ass. He eliminates departments, cuts headcount, gets purchasing to squeeze the vendors and service providers. I lost at least four jobs over the years in these purges, through no fault or shortcoming of my own. It's life.

This never happens in the public sector. They occasionally go through a charade of kicking ass, but that's all it is - a charade. We see what Trump and DOGE are doing, and think to ourselves, "It's about time!"

I heard some Leftist on TV trying to draw a comparison of if a Democrat President had similarly hired George Soros...blah, blah, blah. Republicans would lose their (our) minds.

But here's the thing: Soros, like essentially all Leftists, has never produced a thing in his life. He is a CURRENCY TRADER, who produces nothing and screws whole populations. There is no comparison between Soros and Musk. The Left and the Right, personified.

There is no doubt the government can use streamling. But when choose everybody in the government who was involved, in any way, with DOJ court cases against Trump they will be fired. Over 5000 people fired for retribution, not streamlining. When you cut with a hatchet instead of a more exacting tool, there will be problems.

Who is better qualified, experienced, knowledgeable and able to identify and solve problems and run large departments? Those billionaires, many who have been blue collar workers, who have managed successful enterprises, managed people, achieved success in goals and objectives? Or people who have never had to manage anything other than their own limited jobs?

I agree that the hatchet approach might be a little over the top, but the reality is nobody’s tried to do anything before at all really. So given nothing or a hatchet, I’ll take the hatchet.

The flock is signing off on this, and the party is afraid to say anything.

And again, history doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme. We're having history explained to us, every damn day now.

They’re doing nothing of the kind. Trump and Musk are taking a wrecking ball to the federal government with no clue what they’re doing.

Using their business experience would mean going in and studying what the departments are doing and where efficiencies can be found.

Going in and firing everyone and closing down. departments down is not using business experience or skills. It’s driving a bulldozer through the nation and destroying everything they come across.

They decapitated the FAA, firing air traffic controllers and now you have a rash of plane crashes, and accidents airports that would never have happened otherwise.

Yes, because nothing says "fascism" quite like decimating government power and size.

Nothing says “stupidity” more than cutting Air traffic controllers and then blaming the crash on DEI.

Nothing says “fascism” as much as getting rid of people in law enforcement and the DOJ so there’s nobody to arrest or prosecute you when you break the law.

Not a single controller was cut by Trump. Stop lying.
