Regarding the alleged mortgage fraud involving Letitia James, it seems that Donald Trump has engaged in similar actions. It appears that Trump is targeting Leticia for the same conduct he himself exhibited. Ultimately, this may not hold significant weight, as her case was severely compromised by the Beauty Queen prosecutor whom Trump appointed based on appearance rather than legal acumen.

Both sides are corrupt, you know it, I know it, no sense arguing about it.

President Donald Trump allegedly committed the same kind of mortgage fraud his administration has prosecuted New York Attorney General Letitia James for according to a new ProPublica report.

Trump has accused several of his political enemies, including James and Federal Reserve board member Lisa Cook, of committing “deceitful and potentially criminal” fraud by declaring more than one primary residence on loan applications. Both James and Cook have denied wrongdoing. The charges against James were dismissed over a procedural error.

But according to the nonprofit investigative outlet, records show that “Trump did the very thing he’s accusing his enemies of.”

“In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a ‘Bermuda style’ home in Palm Beach, Florida, pledging that it would be his principal residence,” the ProPublica report said. “Just seven weeks later, he got another mortgage for a seven-bedroom, marble-floored neighboring property, attesting that it too would be his principal residence.”

Republicans are infamous for their hypocrisy.

Hahaha, Trump ALWAYS does this.

The Republicans and the Trump supporters bend over backwards to be good little footsoldiers and to rally around whatever nothingburger scandal Trump and his toadies invent.

Then Trump pulls the rug out from under them by doing the thing they are accusing everyone else of doing.

Nonsense.

Its ok OP.

TDS IS TREATABLE WITH A SARAN WRAP MASK.

Mar a Lago is worth ........ what the judge said.

Judge's Valuation of Mar-a-Lago

Assessment Range

  • The Palm Beach County property appraiser assessed Mar-a-Lago's value between $18 million and $27.6 million for tax purposes from 2011 to 2021.

Judge's Comments

  • Judge Arthur Engoron emphasized that he did not personally value Mar-a-Lago at $18 million, but noted this figure was part of the county's assessment.
  • He described claims that the property is worth $1 billion as "unsubstantiated" and "delusional."

Context of Valuation

  • The valuation is complicated by deed restrictions that limit the property's use to a private club, affecting its market value.
  • Trump had claimed the property was worth 50 to 100 times the assessed value, arguing it should be valued based on its potential as a luxury estate rather than as a club.
This valuation is central to the ongoing civil fraud trial involving Donald Trump and his business practices.

Ok, $18m.
Also not accurate.

What the judge did was cite the various tax assessed values (including $37 million) and then point out that the criminal Trump overvalued it compared to these numbers by up to 2300%.

From the link:
"according to the nonprofit investigative outlet" buried in the article in the OP's link. So another TDSer bites the dust.

Allegedly

Nope, its a fact.

He did exactly the same thing he just had Leitita James prosecuted for.

You can look at the mortgage documents themselves.
