Some on here said she got what she deserved. Of course they only took that position cuz the cop was black
The cop was such a lousy shot he shot at a moving car and hit a house.... Glad he could hit something

I’m surprised they don’t want it to go to trial. That’s the only way Byrd’s conduct will ever get a real evaluation rather than the private whitewashing it got in the Capital Police “investigation” where the facts were never released to the public.

I didn't know the cop was black.
And she did get what she warned she was going to get.
The sense of entitlement is amazing.

You must have been living under a rock. There was no warning from Byrd and several videos and transcriptions of radio calls show Byrd claiming that he was taking fire from the crowd AFTER he shot Ashlii.

I wonder if Byrds BLM bracelet was standard attire.

Any settlement brings into serious questions about the administration's accountability to uphold the law.

Any denial of the families right to bring this before a jury of their peers brings into serious questions the motives behind the lefts actions regarding this.

Why are you so against the Babbitt's familys right to the court system? If they have no case, then the jury will have no issue deciding that, will they? Or do you only trust the court system to convict Republicans?

Then the cop in prison needs immediately release as he also killed an unarmed man.

No has said they had no right to sue, so quit being fractious.

Ashlii willingly, knowlingly, and voluntarily not only refused to follow lawful police commands, she went through that window as she was told she would be shot. She was a criminal in her final moments promoting a physical threat against LEO.

Her right to sue will be overruled.

It can't be. The family might lose in court, but you can't deny someone their right to due process.

Ashli fkd around and she found out. Why would she expect anything less from police who know that they have to shoot first in America?
