I would past the article, but it is very long, so here is the link: http://news.com.com/Police+blotter+...ctions/2100-1030_3-6109567.html?tag=cnetfd.mt
I found it on cnet while browsing there the other day.

This realy bothers me for two reasons:
1. the fact that a non-US resident can give evidence to the FBI and other authorities and it is considered legal evidence.

2. Now it seems like non-us residents can try and prosecute us residents.

The major reason I am pissed off is because some out of country person hacks into another man's computer and steals photos and calls authorities. The man with the child pornography photos now has to spend the next 20 years behind bars.

Now, while I am all against child pornography and I do think that he deserves to go to jail for having the pictures.
I don't like the fact that the FBI are encouraging the anonymous user to hack into more computers to find incriminating "legal" evidence.

Post your thoughts on this topic.

Any evidence found w/o a warrant, or evidence found w/o having that be normal visible to everyone - should be thrown out, generally.
