Traitors: McCain, Romney and Rubio support Antifa

"ptbw-forever" - re: your "Funny" rating for post #6 here...

You think the distancing of Cabinet Secretaries and the running-away of CEOs and subtle repudiation by the Joint Chiefs of Staff are all things that warrant a "funny" rating?

Truly?

Perhaps you're not a TrumpBot, after all.

Welcome back to the Real World.

You watch to much TV.

Only a complete moron could swallow this counter-reality narrative. What actually happened? Antifa attacked legally organizing peaceful protesters, who practiced their rights to free speech, even if you may not agree with that speech.

Trump has disavowed the Nazis and the KKK extremists again and again. When will the far left disavow Antifa and BLM? Never, of course...
Damn, I like that Rubio more and more every time he opens his cute little mouth. Kid's got principles still. Let's see if he's still got 'em next time he runs for Pres.

He swaps his principals with the political winds. I'm thinking he will have a hard enough time keeping his current job let alone a run for president.

...The fact that the CEOs distanced themselves from Trump and not the black supremacist vice mayor ordering the removal of the statue hurts them, not him.
And the Joint Chiefs of Staff?

And British Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May?

And increasing numbers of Republican Senators?

Uhhhhh... yeah... OK... you go right on believing that.

You are not going to believe that Trump is in trouble until we see President Pence waving him off for the last time in Marine One on the White House lawn, prior to 2020.

As quickly as The Creature is self-destructing, you won't have long to wait, until you see that, and can no longer deny the 'trouble'.
The trial at Charlottesville won't even go the way you expect, much less anything else.

You are in for a world of pain in 2020. I will be on Trump's campaign staff at that time btw.

All career politicians are on the same side… Definitely no friends of the country.

First off Racism, Socialism, Communism, Anarchy & Fascism are all UnAmerican. Does everyone agree with that?

Does the fact people usually distance themselves from most radicals mean they have body odor? You can attribute any action to any bullshit reasoning if you want to while ignoring other reasons.

Truth is, Trump was asked by these CEOs to create some sweetheart deals for them. He said, NO, and that they weren't here for that. They are an advisory council.

Let me get this straight.....The President has been denouncing David Duke and The KKK since 1991! THAT's 26 years for people who use lefty math.

He even quit the REFORM PARTY when he was set to be their nominee when a "communist, racist, and socialist" was allowed to join the reform party and he just did it the other day, and the day before that. So exactly why were these CEOs using Charlottesville as an EXCUSE to leave the Advisory Council? A quick look at who sat on it, and you will realize why. Since The President denounces racism, you can't use that excuse. All 7 who left, are all Democrat Donors who have given Millions to Democrat Candidates.

The President, who was once a Democrat and is now a Moderate Republican, had many friends and associates in the Democrat Party. He thought he could work with these people.

Anyone who knows a Democrat knows that they are slime balls, and you cannot trust them...unless you are one of them. It's one of the reason we have all of these felony leaks of classified information.

A Democrat's Allegiance is ONLY TO HIS PARTY...which is the same kind of psychological makeup THE NAZIS have. If you aren't a Democrat, most of them will revile you and attack you every chance they get, and spend their entire life trying to discredit you if that's what it takes. It is fanaticism in it's most ugly form.

Would Lefty like me to post several statements The President has made over the last 26 years denouncing The KKK and David Duke?

Maybe that is something THE DISHONEST MEDIA should be doing to report.....you know.....THE TRUTH?

THE NEOCONS WILL NOT REPLACE US!
THE NEOCONS WILL NOT REPLACE US!
THE NEOCONS WILL NOT REPLACE US!
THE NEOCONS WILL NOT REPLACE US!

Donald Trump and David Duke: For the record

1991

CNN’s Larry King: “Did the David Duke thing bother you? Fifty-five percent of the whites in Louisiana voted for him.”

Trump: “I hate seeing what it represents, but I guess it just shows there’s a lot of hostility in this country. There’s a tremendous amount of hostility in the United States.”

— exchange on “Larry King Live,” shortly after Duke lost a race for governor of Louisiana, Nov. 19, 1991

2000
Trump: “The Reform Party now includes a Klansman, Mr. Duke, a neo-Nazi, Mr. [Patrick] Buchanan, and a communist, Ms. [Lenora] Fulani. This is not company I wish to keep.”

— Trump, in a statement saying he will not accept the Reform Party nomination for president, Feb. 13, 2000

NBC’s Matt Lauer: “When you say the [Reform] party is self-destructing, what do you see as the biggest problem with the Reform Party right now?”

Trump: “Well, you’ve got David Duke just joined — a bigot, a racist, a problem. I mean, this is not exactly the people you want in your party.”

—remarks on NBC’s “Today Show,” Feb. 14, 2000

2015
Bloomberg’s John Heilemann: “How do you feel about the David Duke quasi-endorsement?”

Trump: “I don’t need his endorsement; I certainly wouldn’t want his endorsement. I don’t need anyone’s endorsement.”
— exchange during an interview on Bloomberg Politics, Aug. 26, 2015

2016

Question: “How do you feel about the recent endorsement from David Duke?”

Trump: “I didn’t even know he endorsed me. David Duke endorsed me? Okay, all right. I disavow, okay?”

— Trump, in response to a question at a news conference, Feb. 26

Trump: “I’m sitting in a house in Florida, with a very bad earpiece that they gave me, and you could hardly hear what he was saying. But what I heard was ‘various groups.’ And I don’t mind disavowing anybody and I disavowed David Duke. And I disavowed him the day before at a major news conference…. I have no problem disavowing groups, but I’d at least like to know who they are. It would be very unfair to disavow a group if the group shouldn’t be disavowed. I have to know who the groups are. But I disavowed David Duke.”

Interview with NBC’s “Today Show,” Feb. 29

ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos: “So, are you prepared right now to make a clear and unequivocal statement renouncing the support of all white supremacists?”

Trump: “Of course, I am. I mean, there’s nobody that’s done so much for equality as I have. You take a look at Palm Beach, Florida, I built the Mar-a-Lago Club, totally open to everybody; a club that frankly set a new standard in clubs and a new standard in Palm Beach and I’ve gotten great credit for it. That is totally open to everybody. So, of course, I am.

–exchange on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” March 1

Trump: “We had a news conference and they asked me the exact same question. I said I disavow. Now, right after the program that we’re talking about — and I thought it was clear, but you know, we’re talking about groups, groups, groups. I do have to know the name of the group because, who knows? I mean, they have to give me the name of the group. But right after, when I reviewed it, I put out a tweet and I put out on Facebook that I totally disavow. Now everybody knew I did that but the press refused to look at that. It was right after. And I disavowed then; I disavowed today on ABC with George Stephanopoulos, I disavowed again. I mean, how many times are you supposed to disavow? But I disavow and hopefully it’s the final time I have to do it. But if you look at Facebook and if you look at Twitter, right after the show I put out a statement because I want everybody to be sure.”

Trump denounces KKK, neo-Nazis as ‘repugnant’

President Trump denounced the Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazis by name Monday, declaring racist hate groups “repugnant to all that we hold dear as Americans,” as he sought to tamp down mounting criticism of his response to the killing of a counterprotester at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville over the weekend.

“Anyone who acted criminally in this weekend's racist violence, you will be held fully accountable,” Trump said in brief remarks to reporters in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House, where he returned after a week of vacation in Bedminster, N.J. “We condemn in the strongest possible terms the egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. It has no place in America.”

Trump added: “Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to all that we hold dear as Americans.”

On Saturday, Trump condemned “the egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides,” sparking sharp criticism from Democrats, civil rights proponents and some Republicans for failing to single out and condemn the white supremacists who sparked the violence.

Yet Trump's critics, and even some of his Republican allies in Congress, expressed outrage that in failing to specifically condemn the racist groups, the president appeared to be emboldening them. Some criticized Trump's rhetoric during his campaign for inciting violence from his supporters, targeting immigrants and other minority groups.

“While today’s delayed words are welcome, they should have been spoken on Saturday,” Vanita Gupta, president of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, said in a statement. “This unconscionable delay has undermined his moral credibility as our nation’s leader.”

Trump attempted to counter such criticism Monday. “I've said many times that no matter the color of your skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God,” he said. “We must love each other, show affection for each other and unite together in condemnation of this hatred, bigotry and violence.”

Trump called Heyer's death tragic and said it “fills us with grief, and we send her family our thoughts, our prayers and our love,” and he also praised the service of two Virginia state troopers, H. Jay Cullen and Berke Bates, who died Saturday during a helicopter crash while on duty monitoring the march.

“These three fallen Americans embody the goodness and decency of our nation,” Trump said. “In times such as these, America has always shown its true character. Responding to hate with love, division with unity and violence with an unwavering resolve for justice.”

Ya know, the Imperial Cheeto has only been on his throne for six months, and already his little kingdom is shaking apart, and TrumpBots are $hitting their pants.

Cabinet secretaries are slowly backing away from His Majesty, and Corporate America is now flat-out running away from his toxic 'brand'.

Hell, even the Joint Chiefs of Staff are distancing themselves from this unstable, marginally-functional Chief Twit.

There is a huge difference between being a hard-ass and being an a$$hole, as TrumpBots are slowly beginning to understand, to their very great consternation.

We are quickly approaching the point where The Creature will be unable to govern in any substantive manner, at which point a change will be necessary.

At that juncture the Constitution will be brought into play, to find means at-law to peaceably remove him as a danger and impediment to the Republic and its governance.

At which point, we will see the swearing-in of President Pence to cover the remainder of the term until the next round of General Elections in 2020.

Given how quickly he's self-destructing, the Imperial Cheeto seems unlikely to last beyond the 12-18 month mark, without being removed from office through Constitutional means.

Checks and Balances.

I'm not particularly pro Trump, I basically just disliked his political views less than I disliked Hillary's, and viewed a self aggrandizing douche bag as a marginally better choice than a known criminal poster-girl for political corruption. Jury's still out on whether that instinct was correct, I suppose.

That said, you gotta stop with this Cheeto thing. It was only kinda funny the first time anybody heard it, at this point it's so played out that cringey doesn't even come close to describing it. Now, I know modern lefties tend to be moral authoritarians, and by nature moral authoritarians are absolute shit at comedy, but come on, I know you can do better than Cheeto.

Once all the news anchors have recycled a joke that's the kind of non threatening, mediocre, popsicle stick-level wit that passes for humor in a local newsroom, and then buried it with their unconvincing, Dr. Hibbert-from-The Simpsons fake laughs, "Huh huh huh huh huh. . . And now we'll check in with Tad Williams for the local weather. Tad?", it's almost not even a joke anymore. Just a word to identify the speaker as a partisan fanatic who probably finds old Bill Cosby standup routines edgy as fuck.

Bloomberg’s John Heilemann: “How do you feel about the David Duke quasi-endorsement?”

Trump: “I don’t need his endorsement; I certainly wouldn’t want his endorsement. I don’t need anyone’s endorsement.”

Donald Trump and David Duke: For the record

Saw that on T , or something similar.

The establishment swampublicans are getting desperate in their virtue signaling attempt extraordinaire.

"McCain and Romney used almost identical language, bending their knees to the media narrative that only two factions were present in Charlottesville during the awful events of last weekend: white supremacist Nazis and “Americans standing up to defy hate and bigotry.”"

The left is for 10USC246; why do gun lovers object to be Necessary to the security of a free State? Is loyalty for free under our form of Capitalism, too much to ask of the right wing.

Attacking people who say the bad words and think the bad thoughts is a necessary defense of our nation, is it? And not agreeing that morons with tiki torches and meanie-head flags constitute a violent, existential threat to our nation makes me disloyal, does it? And if I believe in the 2nd Amendment, then I must also believe that the 1st amendment only applies to the good guys, and when baddies say their meanie-head words, it's okay to assault them?

Sorry for all the baby talk, it just seems like an incredibly appropriate way to articulate this absolutely childish shit you're proposing.
