0nly a small portion of the emails and correspondence it contained are verified as "real", and some files were created and accessed WHILE the Laptop was in his shop. The "real" correspondence and emails could have come from Russian hacking of Burisma a few months prior to the laptop turning up.

Special prosecutors work independently. Removed from political pressure. That’s the point of having them. It’s as above board as any investigation can be. The simple fact that he recused himself and made it exclusively the purview of the prosecutor shows he acted responsibly.
