Zone1 Top Myths About Jesus Christ DEBUNKED

They were. The 1st Century Church as JEWISH

Gentiles converted later but slowly they brought their pagan practices with them. Now we have a form of paganized Christianity with the s lect few not accepting these traditions

The people who followed Jesus did not start a church called Christianity. They did not pass it down to their kids. The Jesus myth supposedly happened in that part of the world and the rulers supposedly didn't allow that religion to grow. Any of Jesus' followers who saw him perform miracles died and their kids were not Christians.

Peter, Paul, Luke, etc. They went around the world telling these fairytales and I can't believe anyone swallowed it. Imagine if someone came to your town and told you these stories happened in a remote part of Canada. Would you believe it?

There is no contemporary evidence for Jesus’ existence or the Bible’s account of his life; no artefacts, dwellings, works of carpentry, self-written manuscripts, court records, eyewitness testimony, official diaries, birth records, reflections on his significance or written disputes about his teachings. Nothing survives from the time in which he is said to have lived.

All historical references to Jesus derive from hearsay accounts written decades or centuries after his supposed death. These historical references generally refer to early Christians rather than a historical Jesus and, in some cases, directly contradict the Gospels or were deliberately manufactured.

The Gospels themselves contradict one-another [2] on many key events and were constructed by unknown authors up to a century after the events they describe are said to have occurred. They are not eyewitness accounts. The New Testament, as a whole, contains many internal inconsistencies as a result of its piecemeal construction and is factually incorrect on several historical claims, such as the early existence of Nazareth, the reign of Herod and the Roman census. Like the Old Testament, it too has had entire books and sections redacted.

The Biblical account of Jesus has striking similarities with other mythologies and texts and many of his supposed teachings existed prior to his time. It is likely the character was either partly or entirely invented [2] by competing first century messianic cults from an amalgamation of Greco-Roman, Egyptian and Judeo-Apocalyptic myths and prophecies.

Even if Jesus’ existence could be established, this would in no way validate Christian theology or any element of the story portrayed in the Bible, such as the performance of miracles or the resurrection. Simply because it is conceivable a heretical Jewish preacher named Yeshua lived circa 30 AD, had followers and was executed, does not imply the son of a god walked the Earth at that time.

You're saying he was just a dude? I don't even believe he existed. He was a story made up by 11 guys. Judas didn't get to go spread the word. He was part of the story. Probably he didn't exist.

Consider this. A lot of non jews loved what they saw at Jewish temples. It's a business. But Jews aren't looking for new members and it's a lot of work to become a jew. But it's real easy to join christianity. Hell you can go to church for months and not put anything in the pot. Eventually they're going to want you to join. Maybe even be baptized. But it's real easy really. Just believe, and maybe dunk. Depends on the church. Brilliant really.

I am a Christian, but I also incorporate other religious beliefs into my faith. I really am strongly convinced he was a mystic who practiced white magic. I also read the Quran and can understand the viewpoint of Muslims that he was a prophet and Muhammed was the Messenger.

Do you accept the Big Bang Theory that ALL of the matter in the universe was concentrated into a micro sized head-of-a-pin and then exploded to form our current universe? That is some REAL Faith...
All Is Lava

The "singularity" was an impossible concentration of matter. Therefore, it was an eruption from another universe, which still affects matter, energy, and light in this one.

For physicists to believe in the Big Bang and other impossibilities indicates that they have created a new religion just as irrationally supernatural as all other faiths.

You're what they call a cherry picker. Because all religions have nice things in them. Maybe the future religion, after they all merge, will cherry pick from all the others. Oh yea, Christianity already did that. LOL

Do you understand the science behind that? No you do not. You believe all the stars, moons and planets were squished into the size of a pin. I got news for you. Our sun wasn't born yet. Neither was the star that lived, died and exploded which sent all the stuff you see in our solar system. Everything in our solar system was cooked up in other stars that died long before our sun was born.

So there were no stars, moons and planets in the area we now call our universe.

Also consider there is no one place where the big bang happened. We can't back track and pinpoint the exact location the big bang happened. This blows my mind. I don't quite grasp it. Much like you don't completely understand the big bang

There Are No Dead Ends, Only Portals

Same difference. The cosmic bodies were composed of material that, if accumulated, was the same size as the bodies. The whole is a sum of its parts. So the Singularity had to be the same size as if the huge stars had been squished together. Just like the Black Hole, there is a certain amount of compression that can fit in a smaller space, but not so small as the narrow-minded Postmodern physicists claim it can be.

Actually at least one of the figures was teaching physical light (luciferous rays of light between sun and earth) as their god which made it easy to converge with the other sun worship mythologies, also 1 or 2 of the figures waa teaching Greek death cultism and Egyptian underworld as their kingdom in desth instead of life.
Truly all these including necromancer maggi tricks were forbidden and not Jewish thus the sect was called Notzrim (offshoot). The sect of Sabians called Mandeans claim surviving followers of John the Baptist and their Physical light teachings match thier Physical light analogies in the NT. Remember the icon named Jesus originally followed John and according to Mandeans, stole Johns Flock after Jesus friend and follower Salome had him handed over & beheaded.
Mandeans are interesting!

Yes I know the bible has an answer for everything even if it contradicts something else said previously.

The motivation for belief in a divine, salvational Jesus breaks down when you accept evolution:

“Now, if the book of Genesis is an allegory, then sin is an allegory, the Fall is an allegory and the need for a Savior is an allegory – but if we are all descendants of an allegory, where does that leave us? It destroys the foundation of all Christian doctrine—it destroys the foundation of the gospel.” – Ken Ham

“Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.” – Anonymous

These guys at my company are destroying the company with their behavior but they refuse to admit it or change. Not until I tell the big bosses. They got mad at me and I said I would not be doing my job if I let that behavior continue. You are destroying the business. Instead of growing we are shrinking because of what you are doing. And don't get mad. Just stop doing what you are doing. This isn't debatable. What you are doing isn't defensible. And no one should be mad or take it personally. No one is wrong for calling it out. If you weren't a boss and needed, what you are doing would be a fire'able offense so consider yourself lucky.

What does this have to do with what we are talking about? People who believe in God should not take offense to people who suggest maybe God is made up. If you truly believe, nothing I say would make you angry or defensive. You'd feel sorry for me.

I believe it's not looked down on in the Jewish faith to question if God exists. I believe you can be Jewish and still not believe in God. I'm sure a lot of Israeli citizens are both Jewish and Agnostic atheists.

In the age of archaic beliefs and idol and ruler worship, Judaism was trying to teach rationalism, God is supposed to be an Essence describing the power and source of life not an anthropromorphic- physical being, therefore it was a naturalist humanist religion that went further into describing that nature in order to reflect and manifest that Essence so we could understand that nature in life to progress and flourish in order to be in the right path in life not opposition to life (opposition to God/Creation). Also an understanding, so we knew what was good or evil, what was in line with life or what was opposing our path towards progressing to where we could and should be= evolution

Jesus Christ took on a body of flesh and bones in this life and upon his death, three days later, he rose from the dead with a body of flesh and bones to never die again. Jesus has an immortal body of flesh and bones as a member of the Godhead.

Luke 24:1-5, 36-43
1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

These verses tell us that Jesus, as a member of the Godhead has an immortal body of flesh and bones to never lay his body down again. So if Jesus was to resurrect and all mankind is to resurrect as well, wouldn't you think that the Father also has an immortal body of flesh and bones? Otherwise, why the resurrection? In the book of Hebrews, we learn that the resurrected Jesus is in the express image of the person of the Father.

Hebrews 1:1-3
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Acts 24:15
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Certainly if Jesus can fulfill his part as being a member of the godhead while having an immortal body of flesh and bones, why couldn't the Father also fulfill his part as God the Eternal Father in Heaven while also having an immortal body of flesh and bones?

to this day the Priest go into the Holy Sepulchre and come out with a lit torch or candle, claiming their idol god sent the flame from heaven and lit it, but if you were to check their pockets you'll notice it's a bic lighter, therefore their father is the father of lies.
The death and risen scene is a plagiarism of a 700bc predated Bel passion play called the Marduck tablets, the predated tablets exists in the British museum.

(2) Bel is tried in a great hall;
(3) Bel is smitten;
(4) Bel is led away to the Mount (a sacred grove on a
hilltop);
(5) with Bel are taken two malefactors, one of whom is
released;
(6) After Bel has gone to the Mount and is executed,
the city breaks into tumult;

(9) weeping women seek Bel at the Tomb;

The Roman scribes had access to all the great libraries of the old world.. Taking stories and rewriting them into fables and tall tales that little fishies would swallow hook line and tail(tale) was simple and straightforward esp since they knew these tall tales would appeal to the many and were hard to debunk since all the principle players were long dead or quieted… Going with the pirates of the Caribbean saying “ Dead men tell no tales” tosaythe least…

it helped that most of those cultures and some cults had the same underworld/hades death cult beliefs and rays of sun light sun worship & harvest god beliefs, made itceasier to merge the groups as one global religion.

It's you who have been duped.
The apostles ber beaten, jailed and murdered. All of them, except one. Nobody does that from a "myth" they created
For their beliefs, spreading their beliefs. We know the stories about them don't all line up

I found the following video to be of interest to those who have been duped by the myths mentioned in within it.

Has anyone read the book, "The Historical Jesus" by Gary R. Habermas? Sounds like a good book to read.

Uhm, okay...

The historicity of Jesus is the debate "on the fringes of scholarship" and in popular culture regarding whether Jesus historically existed or was a purely mythological figure.[1][2] Mainstream New Testament scholarship ignores the non-existence hypothesis and its arguments,[1][2] as the question of historicity was generally settled in scholarship in the early 20th century,[3][4][5][6][7][note 1] and the general consensus among modern scholars is that a Jewish man named Jesus of Nazareth existed in the Herodian Kingdom of Judea and the subsequent Herodian tetrarchy in the 1st century AD, upon whose life and teachings Christianity was later constructed.[note 1] However, scholars distinguish between the 'Christ of faith' as presented in the New Testament and the subsequent Christian theology, and a minimal 'Jesus of history', of whom almost nothing can be known.[note 2] Historicity of Jesus - Wikipedia
I have taken it for granted that Jesus of Nazareth existed. Some writers feel a need to justify this assumption at length against people who try from time to time to deny it. It would be easier, frankly, to believe that Tiberius Caesar, Jesus’ contemporary, was a figment of the imagination than to believe that there never was such a person as Jesus.

Not to change the subject, but I was watching Interview with the Murderer. The guy found Jesus in prison. He sounded truly sincere. They asked the kids now grown do they forgive they said no, and neither would our parents.

Doesn't matter that he found Jesus. Even if today he's a changed man. Even if you could prove he was, it doesn't matter. The way he murdered that husband and wife deserves life in prison at best. Doesn't matter what you find or how you change as you age. Prison has a way of doing that. Too late.

I hear in Europe and even Canada, the most vicious murderers will get out in 20 years. Or maybe that's not true. Maybe they get put into a psycho hospital after that. Or there can be appeals to keep them in?

God can forgive and I think that's positive. Doesn't mean man has to.
